Comfy but a bit stiff and upright

Although this chair is a worth a buy. It is very big and cumbersome. I bought it for my 80 year old mother so we could take it out with us. It is probably to heavy to carry round.

The canvas is very taut - no doubt it will slacken in time. Meanwhile my advice - stand with tray towards you, put one foot on nearest bottom strut, hold furthest armrest with one hand and push it outwards, press down on nearest seat edge to open. Don't push down on both sides of the seat, nor pull up on these to close. I caught my hand on the tray twice before learning this. Also caught my watch on the arm when closing. Aprt from that it's a strong chair, could do with a bit more canvas for comfort. The rubber arm covers cannot be moved and could do with being 5cm longer and covered in canvas; very easy to takes nicks out of otherwise. It's OK but I can't rave about it.

Very pleased with the chair. It seems very sturdy, time will tell on that one. Very good little table but the folding out mechanism seems a tad flimsy. It is very comfortable and a perfect height especially if you struggle to get up from lower seating. It is heavier than expected but not that bad to carry. I bought it for summer camping season this year after I saw a friend using one last summer. I liked the fact it has little table as I got fed up with putting my drink on the ground and it getting knocked over. The table is perfect in that respect. Regatta is generally a good make and I liked the fact that this one has a fabric back to the chair rather than it being open between the back rest and the seat. Extra important on those chilly nights sat around camp fires. I'm also a bit conscious of the size of my butt Lol. It is however a very good wide seat for the larger person. Overall I'm very happy with the chair.

I would have given 5 stars as the product is good for the money - the only problem was that one of the locking support bars for the side tray had been put on incorrectly - this isn't so much of a problem if you have a drill, riveter and some washers available and you are willing to spend 20 minutes correcting the problem.It is very comfortable and at 6ft 4inches and 18stones it is a good sturdy chair.

Bought it for a quick put up seat on a manned security job.Does what it needs to do, but the material could have been longer.If you pull the seat material up at the back of the chair, the front of the seat moves back as the material is all one piece.The back material has a tendency to cut into your shoulders blades or just under if you lean back in the chair.If it had been 2 inches higher at the back with a little more material, this would have been a fantastic purchase and I would have bought more for our other sitesFrame is very sturdy. Had no problems seating one of our guards who is 7'2 and weighs 140kg 👍
