Marvelous Little Peppercorn Crusher
LOVE this pepper grinder! Been shopping around for ages but couldn't bring myself to pay $75+ for similar looking imports. Looks just like the photos and the logo is actually a removable sticker. Body is solid wood, top parts are solid brass, internal mechanism appears to be steel as advertised. Feels very good in hand, the grinding mechanism is sturdy and generally feels like a quality build. Grind is adjustable and locks in place with two nuts. Really appreciate that detail, drives me nuts when twist top grinders go all wiggly and can't hold a consistent grind size anymore. Efficiently produces fine powder or big lovely cracked peppercorns. Finer the grind the more work you gotta put in but this thing does it well. Currently have it set to my preferred medium coarse grind and use a little mortar and pestle if I want the pepper to be finer. The seller videos are very helpful. Holds a goodly amount of peppercorns, been using it daily with gusto and re-fill maybe once a week if that. The scoop it comes with is surprisingly nice. Can be a bit tricky to get the hang of refilling at first, helps to hold the grinder around the top with your fingers to make a bit of a 'lip' around the edge and hold it at a 45 degree angle to corral stray peppercorns. Just tilt the scoop and let the U shape do the work. DO NOT SKIP THE RICE GRINDING STEP. Fair warning: It's a bit tough to work the rice through but it quickly removed any leftover metal burrs on the grinding mechanism. Only one flaw I found; there's an tiny gap where the metal top and the milled wood edge don't quite meet up, but it's barely visible and in no way affects functionality. Could be I just got an oddball. Works beautifully, really can't beat the price for the function. Wouldn't hesitate to buy again.

Perfect Pepper Mill
I wanted a pepper mill like my family had when i was a kid. This one is perfect. It is a nice size, fits in your hand easily and easily grinds just the right size of pepper for any dish. The handle makes it very easy to use. It is also attractive sitting on my kitchen table. So glad I found it here on Amazon.

A little tight to use at first
We've only had the grinder for a few months now, so perhaps after a bit more use the grinder mechanism will loosen up a bit. It is small, but works well for grinding our (less often used) white peppercorns.

Grinder does not work
Not sure how this got such great reviews but here is my experience.First the wood came cracked. But before sending it back I decided to try it out.Very hard to get peppercorns in the girder because the door is very small. The included scoop is useless because you can only get about 8 to 12 peppercorns in it. Trying to use it to pour those few peppercorns in the grinder is near impossible for me. Once I got peppercorns in (putting them in one at a time) it would not grind. The description says it easy to set the grind form course to fine. This is an inaccurate statement based on the one I receive. You have to use two different size wrenches to do this. First a 9 mm to remove the handle and then a 10 mm to adjust the grind nut and even after doing that it still would not work properly. The best I could get it to do was a very course grinds similar to cracked pepper. At this setting it was still very difficult to turn. Nice looking but very poor design.

Powerful little grinder.
Love my new pepper mill. I went with a crank because tendinitis has made twisting a standard mill painful. It’s a little stiff but I’m grinding up little hard things so 🤷♀️. Love the tip to grind rice first. Once you get it in motion it’s pretty easy to power through. It’s is much easier to grind pepper for cooking as the output is much more copious than the typical grinder. I can now use fresh pepper to cook with when it call for 1/2tbsp! Havent tried to adjust the grind but that’s next on my to do list.

Hard to turn
It grinds very fine and it is difficult to adjust grind (takes 2 wrenches). The crank turns very hard and my knuckles hit the fill lid knob. I will look for a better one.

Works well and leaves no mess
This pepper grinder is easy to use (though the little scoop that comes with it to fill it is a little silly). I'm actually waiting for my husband to adjust to using this grinder. Our old one was a pain in the neck, so now our few is a little over-peppered with this one because he overestimated how much pepper he is putting in :-) The really nice thing is that the grinder doesn't make a mess and leave pepper flakes on the counter when it is set down after use.

Love love love
I love this Peppermill but it takes a little while to get used to the fact that your cranking out your pepper instead of just turning the top. Does Peppermill has beautiful craftsmanship and it's a joy to own
