Received this iPad Mini on the 20th of April, 2019. Have been using this for a couple of days and here are my insights.DISPLAY - Perhaps the best display I have seen on any sub 40k tablet till date. Colours are vivid and crisp with ample pixel density.PERFORMANCE - An A12 Bionic chip, 3GB RAM, 64 GB ROM, iOS 12. In a nutshell, it's an iPhone XS at 1/3rd the price and almost double the screen size. That says it all.BATTERY BACKUP - Received precharged at 95% which lasted for a couple of days almost with heavy usage. That's too good in my opinion.CONCLUSION - If you want something portable, yet extremely powerful, then this iPad mini is your best bet. Trust me, it outperforms a lot or laptops as well in this price segment.

The best smaller size tablet available in the market. And with the a12 bionic it's an absolute beast. I consider this the best gaming tablet available because of the processor and it's smaller size. It can play anything at 60fps. Also it is ideal for reading and watching movies. It is being sold for almost 10k higher in India though. Buy it if you need one. Or else go for the 2018 iPad which you can get 10k cheaper during sales.

Its been three days with this Ipad now and I’m simply enjoying this new Ipad mini. I got the 256 GB version since I’m going to using for watching documentaries and work videos.I also love using the kindle app and other media consumption apps like amazon prime video, youtube etc.What I like:- size or formfactor is perfect for me. Fits comfortably in both hands or a single hand and helps me type with two. Perfect travel companion! If you travel a lot!!- The screen is brilliant. Perhaps not the best ipad screen (no promotion) but its a crisp bright and detailed screen great to view pics and videos!- Reading! I have the kindle but the interface of an Apple is something else. Being a hardcore Android geek fan moving to apple has been tough but i just cant complain. No lags. No jitter just buttery smooth iOS performance just like The iphone X. No BS!!-Old is Gold: Headphone Jack and thunderbolt connections. I leverage the good old HPs and iphone X charging cables.-Battery life: Seems solid. 10hours of continuous usage!! Good standby battery life too!What I Dislike:Price- Well!!! Its Apple and you pay the price! But over the last year using Apple products I seem to understand why the Premium matters!! I think quality of Enginnering and reliabilty are simply awesome!! But are you ready to shoot your Wallet with a shotgun for this?!!Sound- if you are using HPs then you are sorted. But if you prefer the speakers then its a bit of a let down. The side speakers easily covered by hands while i hold the ipad and even in full volume they sounds just OK! I like my Iphonex better thank to stereo speakers!Options- well if the size and weight is not so much your concern then for the same price you can go with the previous gen ipad pro or the current gen ipad air. Question is what would suit your needs?I use a laptop all the time and I never seem to get time to study or go through videos for learning. For me the Ipad is the perfect device for keep work distractions like email and skype and do exactly would i need. Also small light nimble and powerful. There is no direct competition for this I pad Mini.Dont wait to think whats next?! Just buy it!!This device is perefct! Is it worth the price?? Hmm thats a call you should make!!Cheers!Adi

This is the tab I was looking for! After wasting so much time and money on windows and android tablets I think I can rest now with this beauty in hand. Works perfectly well with my iphone and macbook air ecosystem. The moment it was announced on apple website, I knew this is gonna be the ultimate 8inch tab suitable for portability and power. I got myself the 256gb variant for storing endless comics, movies and loading up games (Elder Scrolls blades on A12 processor is beauty!)Ergonomically feels perfect to hold in hands. Screen is not too cramped like phones, nor too gigantic like other ipad models. Multitasking and multi-window usage feels good. And the display is clear and same as advertised.
