I'm always on the lookout for tools that make yard work easier and more enjoyable, and the WORX WG261.9 20V Power Share 22" Cordless Hedge Trimmer definitely fits the bill! It’s lightweight, easy to use, and cuts through my hedges with ease. The 20V battery lasts a long time, and I love that the battery and charger are included.

This 40 volt hedge trimmer works surprisingly well. My biggest concern was weight. I have 22 various mature shrubs and a Japanese maple tree that all need pruning every the spring and once or twice during the summer. Trimming all of these at once caused hand and arm fatigue with my previous corded hedge trimmer.There are a few things to attach once the box is opened up but it was fairly straight forward to align the safety shield and handle with the provided screws. The initial charge of the 2 batteries took 4 hours. I was able to complete all of the shrubs and tree with this one charge, approximately 1 1/2 hours before the batteries showed a single green light remaining. At that point I was ready for a long rest. I removed the batteries from the trimmer and after a few minutes to be sure they were not warm, placed them on the charger. This time it only needed 2 hours to reach max charge.The blades are sharp enough right out of the box and I hope they will maintain their edge. It does not cut like a hot knife through butter but it does a fine job. I am pleased with the performance so far.

The trimmers are light and portable, easy to maneuver. After one use, they seem powerful enough although I didn't really put them to the test. The blades may run a little slower than I like. My one criticism: it has two triggers and you have to press both to use the tool. Very inconvenient. Sure, it's supposed to make it safer, but it slows me down. To trim at ground level I have to bend down further than I'mused to. Hey, I'm 71. It also limits my vertical reach. But it seems solidly built.

When I picked up the trimmer it was very light and I thought, ugh, this won’t do much. Boy was I wrong! This little trimmer is easy to use and I worked for more than a solid hour on one battery with power to spare. It works best on medium-growth shrubs — not the real thick heavy stemmed mature plants. I trimmed azaleas, podocarpus and various other shrubs with ease. I was pleasantly surprised that this little trimmer made it easy to landscape my garden quickly and efficiently. I definitely recommend.

Light weight, but powerful! Received, quickly charged up the 20v battery, then went and cut six tall hedges in the front of my house! When done, battery showed three lights still available so power was still there!

Now that I have the time to do some yard maintenance myself I added this to my tool collection. It is quite easy to assemble using the diagrams. I like the start-up safety feature and the two enclosed batteries and chargers; both batteries are needed in order to power up the trimmer. The results of my first effort were wonderful. Very easy to get the hang of it and it cut through branches of up to an inch and a half across. The noise is not bad and the product feels sturdy. Very nice to have a cordless model! Finally, I like the included plastic sheath to put over the blades when putting the unit away. As others have mentioned it’s a bit heavy for this middle aged plus female— but not so much as to make me want to return it.

Great trimmer. Lite weight and easy to use. And not very expensive.
