Good product dose the job

The nails are moulded in to the plastic heads, and you hammer the plastic to drive the nail home. Because the plastic is softer than the nail this means that sometimes the plastic gives way and you get the nail head protruding from the plastic. Instant deep scoring on the floor if you don't notice. A nail punch applied to the centre of the pad will push the nail back down and remedy the problem, but you have to check.

Many of the chairs at church were missing one or more plastic feet on the end of their legs. These are a close fit in thickness and diameter to the existing ones - so I am able to replace the missing feet without having to replace all the existing feet as well. I've had no trouble gently hammering these into the end grain of each leg. One or two mishaps but most have gone in smoothly.

Ideal to fit just the job

Not what I was expecting! Very noisy when chair moved across porcelain tiled floor. Will try a different type!

Carpenter told me about these for putting on wooden garden furniture. Put them the chair legs and table legs so they are kept off the ground on stone/ brick patios when it rains. Stops bottom of leg rotting and discolouring. I have even used them on a large shed base sitting on a concrete plinth.

Does what it says on the tin

I was concerned about the chairs scuffing up the carpet so I bought these. They warned about the risk of splitting hardwood chairs so I drilled pilot holes for the first few legs before hammering them in but they went in easily so I stopped drilling the pilot holes and they went in fine without any splitting.
