I bought this sprout machine about two and a half weeks ago. I have already sprouted two rounds of sprouted beans. I am very pleased. I wanted to have a more raw food diet as I have been feeling pains in my body from what I presume to be inflammation. I have it on my kitchen counter and takes up a small amount of space for the work it does.

So full disclosure, I got a refurbished one, which was just supposed to have damaged packaging but otherwise unused. There was no manual, and the company didn't respond at all when I asked for one. The sticker on the front that has the push button controls peeled off on the first use. The silver cheap thing that goes over the sprouter was ripped at the elastic upon opening the box.I figured it out by reading reviews (thanks to the guy who recommended changing out the bottom water). On the last day (it went off by itself or I wouldn't have known when to stop it), the top water disperser popped off and was in the sprouts. On the first day, I already had tails on my seeds. So even though it's clearly junk, it works. I'm still keeping it. Made a lot of sprouts in 3 days.

Fast growing and everything is organic

I was excited to sprout some mung beans with this machine.The directions that it comes with are pretty clear and easy to follow.Some Notes:-When the timed water cycle shoots up through the central pipe to sprinkle water through the top sprayer, it does make some noise. So, do not expect a silent machine.-Changing the water is important everyday for proper sprouting. Just remember to place back in the central water tube and the top water sprinkler back on carefully.-There are no spacers between trays. When the bottom tray sprouts/grows, it will lift the top tray upward.-I soaked 3/4 cup of dried mung means in my 1st attempt (spread across 2 trays). There was a lot of crowding, next time I will experiment with 1/2 cup.-The Mung beans grew pretty rapidly 3-4 days

The product was solidly built an aesthetically pleasing. My constructive criticism would have to be with the use of this machine. It is true it is easy as pouring water in and then pressing a button to start it up cap off the top and wait for it to happen exchange the water out every two days I used reverse osmosis pure water. My issue was I couldn't get a bean to sprout in this thing in over a week I tried several different kinds? Maybe this machine is missing something or nutrients needed to be added or maybe it's may just to make one specific kind of Bean and I happen to not use that exact Bean? When it is labeled as a bean sprouter I would assume that that means broad spectrum all kinds of beans but I couldn't get it to work but maybe somebody else can who knows? Ultimately it had to be returned because it would not work for the purpose as it was intended and that my friends is called defective.

The product I received had stains and the seal on the control panel was half way broken so I suspect this may not be new but used. The product works. follow the instruction and I get sprouts from beans in 4 days. They are kind of thin but taste seems to be better than ones I buy at supermarket. I give 3 stars because it looks like used. Also the roots developed some side roots which means not enough water was consumed. Wish water time was little longer.

The first one I had to return because the power unit was just blinking then it started working and then it stopped. This new one has been working well. These are pea sprouts on day 8! I would prob just use one later for pea sprouts since the roots completely took over the bottom tray as well.

The instructions were not very clear and it said change water once daily for mung beans but all the seeds turned out bad. 3 trials and we had to throw them all away. Possibly could've worked better if I change water more often but it's just not that convenient to do so. I ended up buying plastic trays and works very good.
