Marina Nutrafin Nutra Matic Automatic Fish Feeder 2

Fair item.Pros- worked and kept fish alive when away for 4 weeks. Straightforward to use. Could adjust amount fish were fed.Cons- arrived broken with flap to stop condensation getting into feeder. V.hard to fix to most tanks. Had to rest it in tank with lid left open which led to bad evaporation.

Bought because it was made to fit the lid of my Fluval aquarium. However it is poorly designed. No screen to confirm program. No ability to do manual feeds to test quantity dispensed without removing and reinserting alkaline batteries. Noisy in operation. Very difficult to remove hopper to refill and I broke it trying. Manufacturer no longer makes this feeder, but if you find a supplier with old stock I would avoid buying.

Nice product.

I've just returned from a 2 week break to find this product didn't feed my fish!!!I have 200ltr tank and with two plastic lids on top which are removable. The feeder fits nicely to the side of the tank with a clamping device. I purchased this item well before I went away and set it up prior to leaving to see if it worked. I purchased NEW batteries and followed the very basic instructions. Over a period of 12hrs I noticed the unit had completed half a cycle, (it completes a full cycle every 24hrs). And sure enough when I had checked it the following morning the unit had completed its full cycle and the fish appeared to be fed. Convinced it worked I packed it away until it was time for our holiday.On the morning of our flight I set the feeder up with new batteries and clamped it to the side of the tank.On returning home the feeder was still full and it appeared not to have moved. Luckily my parents had stopped by to check on the house and fed the fish twice during our break. Thankfully the fish are still alive albeit a little thinner.I wouldn't recommend this item. It's very temperamental and can't be relied upon. I'd look for something else if I were you!!!

bit flimsy and difficult to fill

This is the third feeder I have purchased of this type. On all occasions the feeder has broken or become temperamental. On 2 occasions in preparation for a holiday small bits of plastic have pinged off - in both cases the feeder was no longer usable. Just what you need to worry about when you are packing to go away.Adding food is awkward, replacing the clear food holding part difficult. I also got very different amounts of food on the same setting.Why have I purchased 3? I thought in the run up to a holiday I better have a model I am familiar with.I will not do this again? NO! In total a lot spent and no confidence in the feeder.

This product is hopeless it clogs easily so wouldnt get if you want your fish to live

Got this for my daughters fish whilst she comes home from uni. works brilliant whilst testing but after being left we came home to a hungry fish. The food gets damp and sticks together so doesnt come out of the feeder.
