Really happy with product, fits well over a large tent adding excellent extra space.Down side, 1 section of the pole snapped in a wind gust, (I should have taken it down as the wind picked up a bit higher than expected)

Creates a great area for shade or keeps the rain off from around the entrance so you can leave shoes and chairs etc outside the tent and keep them dry.

Great outside shelter for showers but extremely poor reaction to UV light after only 9 weeks use. Ripped from one end to the other in 2 places. Not good value for money. Vango would not replace as this is ‘normal’ wear and tear. Disappointing.

Sat writing this review whilst currently using the Vango family shelter. Initially I thought £70-£80 for a “bit of tarp” was excessive but once I opened and attached to my Vango Lomond 500 my thoughts we’re changed. This is a quality bit of kit, the seems, eyelets and the elasticated end for attaching to the tent all have the usual Vango high quality standard. I am using it with additional 2 poles and it can easiest accommodate 10 people sitting under it even with a moderate breeze. This will be used every time we now go on any family camping adventures.
