Very nice once you put it together
Very nice once you put it together, wich in my case, It took me (hours). Too many pieces of (particle board), and lots of screws in many sizes, after a while I felt overwelmed. It's a bit flimsy once you put it together, I reinforced it with metal brackets in each corner, I really recommend doing that. Note: it doesn't come with lights, I did that on my own, so after all the ordeal, it looks nice and elegant.

Overall a good bar!
Overall we are happy with our purchase.Assembly was longer than wished with 2 people helping but we got through it. It's a sturdy bar & holds a ton of items and we get compliments when guest come over. I would recommend it. It's a bit darker than I wish and I would have liked a 3rd shelf.Top drawer holds a lot of items, bottom drawer is a great size for tall and wide bottles.Wine bottle shelves arenice and large as well. It holds some of our wide champagne bottles too.The wine rack holds 4 of my over size (Olivia pope) wine glasses as well as a 3 champagne glasses. The shelves are deep enough that i can store remaining glasses and more.

By far the worst thing I have ever bought!!!
This is the most worthless thing I have ever purchased. first off when I received it there was 6 pieces that had big gauges in it. I called and they did send me new pieces. They said two days so I left the pieces out. It took 10 days. Then in the new parts they forgot to send the top piece which is the most important. Another 5 days. I got it. So, I continue putting this thing together. Get towards the end and they never sent me the hardware for the drawer. Another 3-5 days. It get everything assembled and go to slide in the last drawer. It won’t shut. Not even close. Easily an inch off they had the predrilled the holes. These are blunt ended screws so I couldn’t drill new holes since the wood isn’t more than 3/4”. I will say the company was nice about sending the parts, but it took forever and was so cheaply made I threw it away. No way I’m taking this apart and putting in a box to return. Take the $250 as a loss and buy something else. Do not waste your time on this garbage. Trust me.

OUTSTANDING piece of furniture
This is an OUTSTANDING piece of furniture. I've been looking for a liquor cabinet for some time. The ones at the price I wanted to pay were cheap looking and exposed all the contents. The Cabinets I liked were really expensive. When I found this South Shore Vietti Bar and Cabinet it was only slightly more expensive than I wanted to pay but appeared to have the lower visible profile that I wanted. I bit the bullet and bought it. I was not disappointed. The only way you can tell this is a bar is the six wine bottle storage in the middle. I am very happy! The finish also matched my wife's coastal style in our home. A couple more things I'd like to add. Assembly did take longer than advertised, and this is not the first cabinet I've ever assembled. However the results were worth it. Also during assembly I was using a rubber mallet to drive home the dowels provided. Sadly I drove one dowel thru the large drawer front piece. I called South Shore requesting a new front piece and hardware and received it within a week. Outstanding Service! Also I admitted to them that the damage was my fault and was willing to pay for the replacements but South Shore insisted on sending the replacement parts to me for free.If I have a future need for this type of Furniture I will be looking at the South Shore product line.

A nice piece and good value
I'm very pleased with this piece. It looks really attractive and is a nice focal point and is very functional at the same time. My only gripe about functionality is I wish they had sent more than two of the wine glass hangers so you could opt to attach more to the shelves for more wine glass storage. Otherwise there's a lot of storage room.Note, I am a wine snob and I do not store my wine bottles in the front square slots (my wine is stored in a wine fridge at the right storing temperature, and any overflow bottles go in the basement which is the next best thing). Instead I'm using those square slots for tumbler and snifter glasses, which actually ends up looking really cool. The assembly is not quick but also not difficult, just tedious. With two people it can take 90 minutes like the instructions indicate but will likely end up taking you longer as getting the door and bottom drawer to line up correctly can take a while. I had to make a lot of minor adjustments to get them to line up straight enough. My biggest complaint is the bottom slide out drawer. The design does not look like it is going to stay aligned over time. The sliding rails are only attached by two screws in oval holes that are too large so over time I expect the drawer will slide out of alignment. If this happens I may just secure it in place myself with additional screws. But so far so good I guess.Overall it's a nice piece and a good value. For the price point I didn't expect super high quality stuff and it's not, but it still looks nice and I am satisfied with it.

Love it!
I had been eyeing this unit for a while, but I finally took the plunge and purchased. I'm really glad I did, because this bar is gorgeous and perfect for my house! It is super roomy, with space for my glass wares, bar tools, liquors, and more, and the top of it is the perfect height for mixing or pouring (bar mat and cat sold separately!!)It had minor dings on arrival, hardly concerning when it is sent via mail, but nothing noticeable enough to detract the quality. The particleboard is surprisingly heavy duty and looks and feels great, and it has no wobble at all.Assembly was reasonably easy, but you will absolutely want 2 people for it. The pieces are heavy and not designed to clumsily flop together.Overall, I love this unit and I highly suggest it for a sleek bar cabinet.Update: I've had this about a year and a half and it has endured a move and is still going strong! Took a marginal beating in the process but didn't lose integrity or get any chips and scratches. Great unit!

Fantastic piece of furniture!
Excellent piece of furniture. Very detailed instructions and easy to follow. Like a Tardis.... small and compact from the outside but plenty of room on the inside. The only negative is that I would have liked n exra shelf though, which would have helped create additional space for my glasses... Very suprised it wasn't already supplied as there is room for it! But Loving it.

tricky build
It looks great but was anything but easy to assemble especially when you are on your own.

Great Sturdy High Quality Cabinet for the Price
This is a beautiful bar cabinet that fits everything in it that you would want. Assembly was long but I have assembled South Shore furniture before and as long as you lay out and organize all the pieces it is easy! Shipping was fast, and South Shore furniture always comes beautifully packed-I'm never worried about it being damaged. The two pull out drawers on one side are great, I keep some bar accessories in the top smaller drawer, and the bottom larger drawer is great for storing taller liquor bottles or extra cans or 1L bottles of soft drinks to mix. The shelves in the middle are great for storing wine bottles and the wine glass rack cabinet on the other side is spacious and has a shelf in their can be adjusted for height depending on what you want to put in there. I actually did not install the door of this cabinet because I wanted the wine glass rack to show when you the look at the cabinet. I also did not install the back board as i needed easy access to a plug that is back there- (think of just attaching a black sheet so it covers the ugly air vent that shows through). This piece is a beautiful black oak and very sturdy. I have two South Shore night tables which i love and this bar piece as well has not disappointed!

Very nice bar cabinet, easy to assemble, generally good quality for the price
This is a generally good quality bar cabinet. I'm quite surprised by it, very comparable to Ikea in terms of materials and assembly parts. The assembling was not hard, instructions were pretty clear to follow, nothing confusing at all. A fair warning though, there are a LOT of pieces, so you need a fairly big working area to sort out which part goes where. The screws, and other small parts are packed into separate pouches dedicated for specific parts of the cabinet which is a nice touch to keep you from mixing up the small parts. All in all it took about 1.5-2hrs to assemble it completely.

Broken pieces. Had to return.
Well this is out of the box. Consider That I took each piece out individually. Two cracked pieces not impressed. Hopefully once its built it won't be that noticeable. Now this might just be from shipping seeing as it is a big and heavy product to ship. Either way the pieces are cracked.Edit: So upon further inspection of the instructions and other pieces I've found that this item has to be returned. The largest piece as well as the top and most visible piece of the whole unit is cracked. I've also seen small chips and cracks in other pieces, not nearly as noticeable as the other two. Although small cracks, fractures and chips lead to bigger problems. This item is not viable to use as the damage is visible and might cause future problems. Returning for a full refund. I will be ordering straight from the manufacturer.
