Terrific iron for handcrafts!
This is the greatest craft iron! I am on my second one, not because I wore the first one out, but because I worry when I do, that I won't be able to find a replacement. I may never need a replacement, but I have it. The 1st one is going on 13 years of use. I use it for quilting and using the Spray Starch Method to pre-form my applique shapes.. It gets hot like I need it to, but the temp. can be regulated. The Teflon coating on the iron is a HUGE plus, because none of the similar craft irons have this coating, to their detriment. I have no reservations in recommending this iron!

Outstanding Product
Works great! Heats up quickly. Compact size makes it easy to maneuver in tight places Perfect for applying edge banding. I Highly recommend this product to other woodworkers.

Nob too hot.
I Have not used this iron much yet but I did notice that when it is set on a high temperature, the nob is too hot to touch. I had to unplug it to turn it off. Maybe I have a defective iron. Doesn't seem that it should work like that.

NOT good for banding. maybe other uses are ok
I bought these for edge banding of melamine MDF. The idea of a small iron with temp control is good... After a couple times using it, I found it not good for banding. Since the handle is in the rear of the iron it is hard to keep an even pressure over material's surface, actually it is very hard and tired to keep it pressing. Then, after about 5 times of slight use, the metal connecting handle to iron started breaking until it became useless. I've found other irons to work better for this, specially those "travel irons". Maybe for other uses this veneer edge banding iron is ok, but not for banding.

According to Expectations
Was able to access difficult area of installation due to small footprint of iron and pointed tip. Gets hot quickly and melted the adhesive without a problem. Worked as advertised. I am not a professional wood worker, so don't know whether it would work for long hours under constant use, however, for my small project did the job nicely.

So convenient
This iron is the perfect size for all of my fabric craft projects. I even bought a backup for when I wear my first one out.

Not great
Product stopped working before I finished one project. It was difficult to get the right heat level at first, but it sort of worked for a while. Had to borrow a heat gun and that worked much better.
