Karndean Acrylic Adhesive is ideal for use in most normal residential and commercial installations. We always recommend that you work section by section, as product must be wet bonded when installed with this adhesive. Acrylic Adhesive has an open time of approximately 15 minutes depending on atmospheric conditions on the site. Not to be used in areas of excessive temperature and moisture. Coverage: 1ltr Karndean Acrylic Adhesive tub covers Approx - 4m² 2.5ltr Karndean Acrylic Adhesive tub covers Approx - 10m² 5ltr Karndean Acrylic Adhesive tub covers Approx - 20m² 15ltr Karndean Acrylic Adhesive tub covers Approx - 60m² We recommend using an A2 trowel to apply Karndean Design flooring adhesives for best application and coverage. Special note about Extreme Heat Areas: If the area concerned may be subject to extremely excessive direct heat (50˚C or more), such as shop windows or a fully glazed south facing conservatory, then the floor must be installed with Epoxy Adhesive. It is vitally important to keep the temperature in these rooms at a constant 18˚C – 26˚C before, during and for 24hrs following installation. It would also be prudent to shade all windows to ensure that constant temperature conditions are maintained for 48 hours after installation. For any areas under question please consult the Karndean Technical team. Karndean recommend that you use their range of adhesives when installing their products.
