I have recently lost strength and balance. Taking a shower was a tricky proposition unless I had someone right there to be with me. That's just embarrassing. I started searching for a shower chair. I compared many chairs with reviews and functionality. They are NOT all the same. This one is adjustable to your comfortable height. It doesn't tip or slip or slide. The seat is comfortable as well. The handles make it easy to sit and stand up and also assist in exiting the shower. My strength and balance has since stabilized and improved, but I would not take a shower without this chair. I do not have muscle fatigue and that's one of the very best parts. I can enjoy the shower as long as the hot water lasts. That's also a plus as the pulse of the shower helps soothe my muscles. I'm not mechanically inclined, but the instructions were very well done. I separated the screws into their different sizes and shapes and it went together very well. It took me about an hour, but it was a very worthwhile hour. I highly recommend this and I will buy another one should this one EVER fail. I have my doubts it will fail. Great Chair!!

Great sturdy shower chair but definitely needs help assembling.

Shower chair was a huge help for my grandfather when he was in hospice care from home.Easy to put together.Can remove one are slide in over a tub.Very sturdy! Grandfather was 220 lbs when he first started using it.Would recommend for anyone who needs one

Fits into my standard tub perfectly--fits facing forward or to the side.To get into the tub I put the chair facing the faucet, with one arm removed. I sit holding the back of the chair with my left hand and the bath tub rail from Drive Medical with my right hand, then rotate myself to face the faucet.I had surgery on my broken leg and I am not to bear any weight on the leg for weeks. This chair makes it possible for me to shower with my leg up on a stool. It feels stable and I love the big drainage holes on the seat--water does not gather which keeps me from slipping.

Price point is great. This is for my Father. He is in a Memory care facility. The aids were thrilled with it. The built in shower chairs in the showers are to low and patients do not like them.

This bath bench is fantastic! After having pneumonia it is hard to breath and stand in the shower. I have a wider tub as it is a Jacuzzi. I'm not sure it would fit in a regular tub. I love having this chair, it does wonders for me. I'm sure any Seniors would love this chair, it has rubber suction cups, arm treats it has a back and the seat has holes n it to let the water run off.

I like this bath seat. It is well designed, sturdy and meets my purpose. There was one major disappointment, one that was reported by another person who also purchased the exact same chair. The last screw to secure the legs onto the seat was the wrong size. It was a small screw and it should have been a large screw. So I have to go to Home Depot and buy the correct size 2 1/2". Please make this correction. Other than that, it was easy to put together.
