There are two types of full size USB computer keyboards: Basic and premium. The premium keyboards are great, but they are very expensive. If all you want is a basic keyboard, this is the one to buy. Why this one? Because it is the best of the basic. It is high quality, the keys feel good and are satisfying to use, its lightweight, and durable. And for the price, this is a no brainer. Get a couple for backup.

Good purchase

I've used this specific model of HP keyboard since I was about 10, since a family member was able to grab a couple spare ones from their office ages ago. These keyboards are built VERY well, and are highly reliable. Only downside is they're not as easy to clean as some more modern keyboards.I like to use this model for work since it's so familiar. The travel time is minimal, and the switches are good.

Great keyboard but I bought this specifically because of the model it was, to match my old one. But they sent me a different model. As you can see from my picture, it doesn't match what was advertised. After contacting the seller, they told me they actually sent me the new model, as a free courtesy, but would send me the older model I requested. I offered to send back the newer keyboard as I had already repackaged it, but they insisted I keep it free of charge. I am very satisfied!

Nice-looking keyboard seemed fine in Windows. However, in pre-boot environments, it jumps around, usually 2 lines or 2 horizontal fields at a time, e.g., when used in BIOS screens, where Windows' anti-bounce capabilities aren't available. Very consistent. I have NEVER had this happen before. Of course, since you now have to have a spare keyboard also connected at the same time, it's of no value.United PC TEK refused to do anything, saying since it was outside the 30-day window, they didn't have to. Who looks for keyboard behavior in BIOS first thing off??
