Dell Replacement Lamp for 2400MP Projector GF538 310-7578

I am very please with the shipping of the product. Received it in a very timley manner. Time will tell as it was around $100 cheaper to purchase then directly from Dell, but if it doesn't last longer than 6 months then it wasn't worth it. Again, time will tell.So far I am very happy with the product as it was cost effective and it works.

Got this replacement bulb in and have used the projector for about 1 hour with no issues. I saw a lot of reviews on here saying the bulb showed up dead but this bulb is also MUCH cheaper than others. Maybe I just got lucky, but I didn't have any issues. I'm going to be using the projector more in the upcoming days, so if it burns out or anything happens I'll update this.

Ordered this lamp to replace an old lamp in my Dell projector. Fair price and easy to order on line. I checked local electronic stores in my area before ordering and no one carries this lamp. I use my projector daily to teach classes. The new lamp was easy to install. You get the lamp and housing which makes the change out very easy. (Less than 5 minutes) Works great! No problems or issues! If you need a replacement or just need an extra lamp on hand, this is the way to go.

It was not the same as the original. It was hard to install because the piece on the back kept falling off. On the replacement it was form and on the original it was plastic. The picture it tiled also.

Works as advertised.

this is a replacement light bulb for our projector. It shipped on time, fit in the camera and we will see if it works for more than a couple of weeks

These bulbs are the worst. They actually killed my projector. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BUY THESE BULBS!!!! I installed them and when I plugged the projector in it tripped my GFCI plug. I thought it was a fluke till it did it again. I pulled the bulb out and put in a second one I had ordered and it did the same thing. So, I put my original bulb back into the projector and the projector will no longer power on. The projector was working before this. It would power on and give the lamp error meaning that it needed replacing. Now it is a dead paperweight thanks to these bulbs.AGAIN...DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BUY THESE BULBS!!!!

The "Dell" replacement lamps were not Dell brand. We ordered two, and after installing the first one and turning the projector on, the projector made a loud pop and went dark. The lamp melted the plastic where the lamp had contact and fried the projector. After further inspection, we noticed that the two lamps were wired differently, one being backward from what the original lamp was wired. The insulator plastic behind the lamp did not fit properly and the metal reflector piece was flimsy and did not stay in place. If you are looking for an inexpensive lamp, this is not it! It will cost you a perfectly good projector.
