Imagine Gymnast DS

"Imagine Gymnast" is a huge improvement over the "Gym Girlz" DS game that's been available for a few years, but neither one is that great. The gameplay on both is nearly identical, but "Imagine Gymnast" allows you to personalize your character with different options for hair color, a wider range of skin tones, and better leotard designs. Some of the challenges in the game aren't explained well at all, which can make trying to get 100% on every level difficult. The better you do on each level, the more customizations you earn for your character. As you go through the game you unlock different team mates that you can also play with.If you're a true gymnastics fan, you might start getting annoyed with the game, because there are a lot of inaccuracies in it. Some skills are given the wrong name, or are shown being performed incorrectly. Shannon Miller is supposed to be your coach throughout the game, but a lot of the things "she" says are things I doubt the real Shannon Miller would actually say if she were training a novice gymnast.If you can get this game for $15 or less, I say go for it. Otherwise, try finding it used somewhere.

I was really excited when I saw this game was coming out. I thought it would be something like Imagine Figure Skater or Imagine Ice Champions. Well I was wrong about that. First of all the game is not very challenging at all. It took me two days to beat it. I am an adult but I don't think younger girls would take very long to beat it at all. It is also very repetitive. Your story moves forward and you just have to keep trying to accomplish goals for each story. You don't even really have to meet all the challenges to move on. It is also hard to control. It is easy to move your stylus a different direction and make a move you don't want to make. I would DEFINATELY not pay $30 for this game! If you are going to get it wait until it is cheaper.

My daughter takes gymnastics classes and loves the sport. This game allows her to have the characters do moves like what she does and she thinks it is a ton of fun!

Did not come in a case as I thought it would. My daughter hasn't played it yet so can't speak to the content.

For the money we spent it came without a case. I was told that it was placed in the comments, however it was not in an obviouslocation.

I purchased this for my 8 year old daughter who is in gymnastics and she absolutely loves it!The graphics are great and it gives her many choices throughout the game from hair color to leotard style. I definitely recommend!

My daughter loved this game. One of the characters even has a mom in the Army, which my daughter loved since I'm in the Army :)
