Item was exactly as I wanted it to be.
I already have 3 of these pillows that I have had for years. I sleep with one under my neck and use one in the recliner. my old ones need replacing.

The satin cover is nice. It can be removed for cleaning
The satin cover is nice. It can be removed for cleaning. I was hoping the foam would be like a memory foam but since it's not, it may take some breaking in. It's very firm for side sleeping and for me not too comfortable. I tuck it under my down pillow so that I have the neck support but with some added cushion for the head to offset the firm foam. I'm hoping it'll break in soon; so far I've slept on it for 1.5 weeks.

very disappointed It is so hard it can't be called a pillow. There is no comfort to using this at all.

HAPPINESS IS....finding a new CORE pillow
This pillow was prescribed to be by a neurosurgeon after the last of a series of five spinal surgeries...almost twenty years ago. I began my search to find a replacement almost ten years ago and now I have finally found it. Thank you Amazon. I no longer have to use this grungy, nasty, frayed, stinky original ever again!

Mediocre choice for a cervical pillow
Did not like the slippery cover. Do not like how the foam compresses. Probably should have returned the item.
