Coenzyme A: 700mg - 90 Capsules

I’ve been using this product since about 2004 . It’s really helped me especially during times of stress and extreme low energy . Or on days where I need to sustain energy and minimize pain. Trying to find a replacement has been challenging and 💯 unsuccessful. Very disappointed .

I've found this product to be extremely beneficial in regulating matabolism and boosting my energy. However, it seems to be out of stock and want to encourage Amazon to restock and make it available again soon. I'm almost out! Thank you!

I have a lifelong chronic fainting condition where when I'm doing some activity that burns blood sugar quickly (i.e. exercise), I suddenly loose blood pressure and my heart rate and breathing slow and I hit the floor. As a PhD student in a (non-medical) STEM field, I do regular literature searches on any new research that could hint at the underlying cause of this constellation of symptoms and one day one of my searches found an unrelated study that nevertheless found 'unexplained syncope' patients in its cohort were running short on a CoA precursor - which meant the body would have trouble producing enough CoA on short notice to convert fat stores to blood sugar in times of immediate need. That seemed like a great new lead and as my condition has been bad enough in the past few years to require a service dog, I was up for trying anything that looked promising, so I bought this supplement to see if it would boost my CoA production and alleviate the fainting issues... and it DID! Not 100% and I still have to be careful to eat on a regular schedule, but it's been better than I've been in years. However, it also changed the way the liver metabolized other medicines, including the birth control pill I take to control irregular and heavy periods. This supplement quickly sent me into horrific PMDD for a week+ every month - remember that birth control hormones are measured in micrograms so any increased metabolizing of the pill's contents can have a huge impact. My GYN switched me to the lowest dose pill on the market and I'm back to normal but I do think it's important to note the potential for changes in reactions to other liver-metabolized medications when taking this supplement!

Just started taking it so not rating on its effectiveness yet BUT the capsule is so big that it gets stuck in my throat, even when taking it with a full glass of water. Normally I'd take a bite of bread to push it down but it's supposed to be taken half hour before food. Why not make it half smaller and just take two of the capsules???

Coenzyme A gives me a burst of energy. its like i'm the energizer bunny. I don't feel tired for that day. I have a very stressful job/life and it seems to help me recoup some of the energy drain. When taking this, it does prevent me from feeling like I want to sleep for a month, at the end of the day. I can't speak of the long term effects because 1) Its so expensive that I take it sparingly 2) For a while, it was unavailable. i take one a day every couple of days. Like I said, its expensive and I figure any little bit helps.What I can say from what I've read is it is supposed to provide cellular energy. It is also supposed to be taken in conjunction with co Q 10. together they are supposed to help the heart and kidneys, among other things. for that reason i have bought it for my brother as well, as he has kidney disease. co enzyme A is also supposed to help reduce blood pressure. I will try to update both our experiences with this product. in about a month. Peace.

I am citric acid intolerant. Citric acid makes my kidneys hurt so much that it becomes difficult to walk. This product appears to remove or alleviate the pain. I am on my second bottle and will continue to test the difference between using this product and not. Capsule is horse size and instructions recommend 2 per day but I am only taking one.Purchased another bottle and tried two per day. It does not work to alleviate the pain. Damn.

I'm not one for supplements, especially in this price range. I spent the last decade getting sick after eating. I did the elimination diet, and had many doctors appointments. I got nowhere. I finally came to the conclusion, on my own, that I had a problem with citric acid. Citric acid is in just about everything. My doctor said I have IBS and there is no cure, I just have to avoid citric acid. This didn't make sense to me, and how can I possibly avoid citric acid? I spent many years relying on Imodium to get me through the day.Then I was reading a blog about citric acid intolerance, and followed it to this supplement. $50 is nothing compared to 10 years of being afraid to eat, so I went for it. I'm only a week into taking it and have noticed a significant improvement. I'm not exactly eating oranges yet, however I can have stuff like BBQ sauce and ketchup without triggering the end of the world in my stomach.I can only hope that when I stop taking this my symptoms don't return. I'll follow up then. In the meantime, this stuff is doing what no amount of time, money and doctors could do.Thanks.
