Medline Retractable Cloth Measuring Tape, Inches and Centimeters, Round Case, 72" Length, Essential Sewing Supplies, Pack of 6

I ordered these because I'm always misplacing my tape measure, and this way, I can keep one in my purse, another in the bathroom, another in the kitchen "junk" drawer, etc. I also ordered them because they measure up to 72" -- most small purse-size retractables measure 60" or less.Figured the price was low enough that if the quality wasn't great, it wouldn't be a huge issue.I needn't have worried -- the quality is excellent for the size and cost. The tape is a flexible plastic-coated cloth, and retracts with the push of a button. I know these are listed as "disposable," but I'm confident that each one will last a good long time as long as it's not handled too roughly.Definitely exceeded my expectations -- would gladly purchase again, and recommend to others looking for similar items.

Great price. Small yet handy. They automatically wrap themselves back up so you aren't standing there sloppily trying to wrap up 4 feet of messy tape. I work with kids and need to take measurements of head and waist circumference, so these are great and convenient. I love that they came in a pack like this because everyone in the hospital needs them and we are always snatching up eachother's measuring tapes. Now we are nice and stocked.

Works fine, retracts. Nothing notably superior about it. After only short use, no longer fully retracts the tape into casing, leaving an inch or so hanging out. Still, works fine. Just a tape measure. Still have 5 more if it fails outright...Addendum: 3-1/2 years later -- now down to the last of the six originals. I've lost a couple somehow (I do in-home medical evaluations) and the rest broke. I [foolishly] tried to repair one, as it was just "sprung" and wouldn't retract; they aren't repairable unless you have more patience, and a strong plastic adhesive, than I possess; disassembly requires breaking the plastic. At least two failed by the retraction mechanism becoming frozen in the extended position, i.e., the small button that must be pressed to initiate the retraction became stuck in the down position.Considering the price for these, I feel it is a good enough product to have lasted this long before I'm forced to buy again.

Great value. I lose these all the time so getting so many for such a good price is nice. Durable easy to fit in your pocket.

It's very handy to have lots of tape measures around the house, garage, and boat. plus each grandson got one to learn with - can't beat the price and quality. thanks

I ordered this thinking I was getting a single measuring tape, but when I received 6, I was quite happy. The quality meets and exceeds my expectations. I expect one of these to last for a few years based on frequency of use, so having 6 should last the rest of my career!

Don't believe the product description. These measuring tapes are NOT cloth. They are plastic, plain and simple.
