These were just what I needed, but the thickest short one bent quickly although it still remains useable. Just as well I wasn’t using a thinner one as, had it snapped off in the cushion, it really would have been a problem.

I am an upholsterer by trade, these needles for buttoning are pretty useless. They are too short and not strong, bend on the slightest bit of pressure. I am sure they are useful for making cloths or for use with fabric that is thin

This is a fab kit, The needles are good quality and the needle threaders are lasting much longer than the basic types as moulding holds the fine metal, not broken yet 4 months later. Very Happy

Bought to help make an Easter bonnet (particularly for piercing polystyrene) so can't advise how good they are for tapestry, however range of lengths and widths is good and both the needles and needle threaders are strong. Happy with quality and the amount you get for the price

These are too thin - long needles are used for upholstery and these are substantially too weak for that (they bend and break).
