Select Fire 10/22

Hreat book alot of good info in it drawings are good as well as instructions need some basic skills to make it work but all in all a good bit of knowledge to have at your disposale

With a good digital caliper.a set of files a drill and Dremel tool You can build this if it was legal. Course I could do it in 8hrs with a mill and a few more machine tools.drayI have been reading this for a week now and I am learning more things as I go over it everytime. There are two ways to set this up both have pluses but I have yet to see any negatives to either for that matter they may not really have any.I would really like to get together with this author as there are things that would make this book even ten times more interesting to those that do not really understand how it works. I few laws of physics and the how things work in this system could really wow them. Plus there is an easy way to make this fire three round burst as well. dre

basically i can tell you that if you want a fully automatic 1022 or just about any other weapon you're going to need more parts. you can create an unsafe weapon that may fire multiples but it also may fire nothing or everything. that''s not what anyone wants even if they think they do.drop in auto sear or if you really understand how everything works an extra sear but no one can do it with what's already there. they are legal but it's gonna cost you $200 over and above what the work and parts cost. peace and love.,.,..

Book is good, but got no ATF license to do it...

This is a decent book to help understand the workings of a $200 basic 10/22 and the work involved in turning it into a select fire .22 rifle; which is really cool. Unfortunately, a machine shop is required to make various discribed components that are necessary to achieve the build. Great schematics to follow to build the necessary parts (tolerances and what-not of auto seer, select fire switch, etc) and all the necessary info to modify the stock reciever and action. All this info is available in PDF format online. Just gotta look.

An impractical guide to an illegal project. The idea of a full auto conversion for the delightful 10/22 seems neat; however, the key part, once manufactured by the author hasn’t been available since 1988. Perhaps not a bad thing.

Fun book to read however without a tax stamp and education you're liable to get yourself in trouble . Cool read though.
