Boye 332680000IM Ergonomic Crochet Hook, 5.25 mm,Rose

This is a difficult size crochet hook to find in my local craft stores so I ordered these online. If ordering for a gift these came in a variety of packaging from a loose hook in a bag to proper packaging. Works great though. Would buy again.

I love this crochet hook. It is the most comfortable hook to crochet with. It doesn't rub blisters on my hand like the aluminum ones do. I highly recommend it, especially if you have arthritis.

I like this hook. I ordered one instead of the set to try it out. It's very comfortable. I've used it to make several items without issues or fatigue. However...getting a bit ahead of myself...I did order the set, and I don't think all of the hooks in the set are the same quality. I wonder if the individual hooks and the set of hooks were manufactured under a separate contract....with lower standards and/or less oversight. But I would buy this hook again and do recommend it.

I really like this hook. It is longer than some. The handle feels perfect in my hand (I use knife hold). And I love the Boye style hook. The only downside is that they are heavier than some. I did not realize how much until I tried theClover Amour. They are so much lighter. When I crocheted comparing this and the Amour, my hand felt tired after awhile. That did not happen with the Amours. I will keep this hook and use it, but I ordered the set of Clover Amour because of the difference in weight.However, if I couldn't use the Clover, I definitely would get the Boye. They are my second favorite ergonomic hook.

The handle of this is good and comfortable for me but the shaft is not long enough for some things because of the length of the cushioned handle. Works good for most projects and is good quality.

I was unable to 5.25 mm crochet hook in any of my regular craft stores. I was relieved when I found it on Amazon.

Love this hook. This hooks helps with fatigue from big projects. It is very easy to hold and comfortable to use.

I have Arthritis in my hands and this hook is so comfortable to crochet with. I highly recommend it.

This hook feels good in your hand and glides nicely through the yarn.

I was having a tough time finding a 5.25 hook for a project that my 5mm was too small, and I had to crochet tightly to get gauge with 5.5mm. Found and ordered this Boye hook, but when I got it and started crocheting with it it just seemed to be catching and splitting. I took a closer look and the metal part was not at all smooth. Could actually see and feel nicks and rough spots. I took a file to try and smooth it, which worked to a certain extent, but also took off any slippery feel it may have had on finish. Frustrating. I don’t know if this came from a bad batch, but I am not happy at all with this. My other hooks are Clover, and I have never seen this before.

I'm not so happy with this hook. I have bought several sizes, and generally love them. But this one is sharp underneath and tear apart my projects. Disappointing.
