The media could not be loaded.  I’ve been a crochet-er for almost a decade. I never knew how much I needed this case but I’m so glad I have it now. It came with lots of items, and i switched them out for my own ergonomic hooks (gave the others to my 8 year old, who is learning). It hold my Boyd hooks perfectly. I did keep the thread hooks. The wood is flat shaped, not round. I have yet to try them and I wonder if they will be easy to hold.It’s beautiful and functional. I’ve added pictures so you can see.Keep in mind that the items it comes with may be a hit or miss, the stitch markers are unusable. They are stiff and very difficult to pop open (get the ones from Joann fabric)Also, the eye needles I also found on amazon for $3 and it comes with a small container, which I placed in this case and also recommend.

I bought this set to keep in our RV since I often buy yarn in local yarn shops we visit on trips and usually don't have crochet tools with me. I love the case--I know others have received torn or defective cases, but mine is in perfect shape and so pretty. I decided to use one of the plastic-handled hooks to start a lacy head band and realized after a few minutes that the lace-weight yarn was catching (rather than sliding) on the metal stem below the hook. I compared these hooks to my ergonomic set of Clover Soft Touch Hooks and was shocked at how roughly made these hooks are, compared to the Clovers. Like another reviewer, I plan to remove these hooks from the case and replace them with my much better quality Clovers. In fairness, these hooks might be fine for standard wool or acrylic yarn that isn't prone to catching or snagging. But if you make crocheted lace, you will be disappointed.

Package arrived today. Super excited about the cute packaging and all the accessories to include the binder to store it all in. It all looked solid.I grab some yarn and go to pull out a G hook 4.5mm and the elastic rips and pops open. I’ve included the before me removing a hook and after photosSo I do a deeper look at the case and hooks. The case looks like the threads are going to rip open, with loose threads, the smaller wooden hooks clearly have glue around the heads of hooks.Such a great package but the quality is really lacking. I’m hoping I got a bum package so I’ll exchange and see what the next package delivers.I added photos of everything I commented on.

I mostly bought this product for the hooks because I already have a crochet case and many of the little accessories that come with this (although it's always nice to get more). These hooks are nice. The texture of the rubber is easy to grip and feels much more comfortable in my hand than plain metal hooks do. Switching from metal hooks to these hooks felt a bit awkward at first because of the extra bulk, but once I got used to it, I hardly notice the difference and my hands do seem to be hurting less overall.The only problem I had with this product was that the case is Very cheap. The very first time I zipped the zipper portion of it closed, the zipper came right off the track because the end wasn't sewn in properly. As I said before, this wasn't too big of a deal for me because I bought this product primarily for the hooks and not the case, but I wanted to mention it so that people who are looking at the case will be aware of the potential problem.

I really wanted to like this but it is just slightly disappointing from the get go. When I opened the plastic bag it was in I was hit by a strong chemical smell that’s very unpleasant. I will leave it out to hopefully air out. Once I unzipped the first side with the rubber gripped hooks I noticed the strap between two hooks wasn’t sewed in. When I removed one hook it even lifted the seam next to it. I will have to be very careful removing the hooks until I can figure out how to sew it back together. The handles have a powdery dusty feeling that’s not pleasant either. I will wash the hooks later to hopefully remove that feeling. The other accessories are what you would expect. I got this case to hold my Boye ergonomic crochet hooks. It is disappointing that I received this new case already having to figure out how to fix it.

The mint green fabric is gorgeous. I really love the fact the hook case has 2 main zippered pages/sections, plus a large mesh zippered compartment and a tiny solid fabric zippered compartment for the small things, such as stitch markers and yarn needles. It, also, has snips, a tape measure, large stitch/cable holders, plastic yarn needles, a small pack of tiny stitch markers, 2 sets of knitting needle point protectors, and a hook sizer with the inches and metric marked on the sides. The wooden handles on the steel hooks feel really nice in your hand but they are a bit slippery, I haven't had a chance to use them yet so I can't really review them properly. On the other hand, the yarn hooks are cushioned and super soft, I really enjoy using them. I bought these to try because I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and it's sometimes hard to hold a regular small handle. On the Con side, at least for me, is all the hooks are marked in metric only, if you live anywhere but the US this won't be a problem at all. I am very happy with my purchase and would definitely order from them again.

this is a well made organizer, which i love. plenty of room for the ergonomic hooks + 8 small, doily size hooks. the zippered organizer folds out like a book & has the same matching cover (lt. grn w/roses) as the accompanying crochet & yarn bag which i also bought by looen. now, the reason i gave it a 4 star is because i've had "ergonomic" hooks before and they were wider & thicker than these hooks which made them easier to work with. these are thinner & smaller. the ruler has mm sizes on it which are engraved, nice), but not the letters, g,h,j...., i need letters.i will keep this, however because i like the organized features. would just suggest better ergonomic hooks.
