Antique Reproduction Heart Padlock With 2 Skeleton Keys

Q: I just received this product, and can't seem to "unlock" it. How does it work? I've put both keys in, and turned them every which way. Instructions?

I was about to send mine back because I couldn't get it to unlock. The key would only turn about a quarter if the way. I found you have to really wiggle and give it a good amount of pressure to get it to turn the rest of the way and unlock.

No glue, it’s not steel or bronze - maybe tin ?

Q: Is this lock weather proof?

no, this lock appears best suited for indoor decoration. I believe it would rust badly if left outside and at some point, would freeze up and become useless.

Q: Will wedding rings fit on the latch? Wanting to use it as a ring bearer alternative.

Wellllll...I put my ring on the latch part, I take a size 8 and it goes on just fine, a size smaller would still fit as well, and of course any ring that is bigger, piece of cake :-) The lock itself is surprisingly weighty, make sure your ring bearer can manage to carry it, at least up the isle before he wants to put it down !
