Cuts really well but not sure it’s worth the hype
I read lots of reviews and everything pointed towards Veritas hand saws as being the perfect hand tool. This is my first “expensive” saw and overall I would say it has massively improved my experience. There is almost no flex at all in the blade. The teeth cut well after a few initial cuts. The handle is comfortable.However. The material use is a massive let down. I was expecting s gorgeously crafted wooden handle but it looks to be a cheap plastic with a wood grain effect painted on it. It generally feels quite light but I guess that’s probably a good thing for frequent use. Feels and looks a lot cheaper than it is.
