Works well, cheaper than local stores or going to a mechanic, easy to use for first timers, would recommend.
I bought this to test the fuel pressure on my 2002 GMC Denali. It was easy to use and worked well. I was initially concerned as I have not done this before, but all went well. Would recommend for those needing to test fuel pressure in their vehicle. Price was better on Amazon than in local stores.Pros:~ works well for testing fuel pressure~ easy for first time users~ cheaper than local stores~ good quality~ decent amount of adapters/fittings~ saves time and moneyCons:~ after reading the other reviews, the cover on the gauge is not fuel resistant- I was careful when using this and placed a screen protector on it like someone recommended and didn't have any issues.Hard to say anything bad about the product as it was still cheaper to test at home with this than bring my vehicle to a mechanic. And I will be able to use the product for future problems. If you place a screen protector on the cover that should eliminate the only downfall of the product.Overall I would recommend this product, even if you a newbie to using this.

Good fuel pressure gauge, every DIY mechanic should have one
This is a good gauge with an easy to read dial. It connected to the GM fuel rail valve easily and without leaks. It helped me to pinpoint the no-start condition in my truck. I initially thought it was the fuel pump, but once I connected the gauge, I could see that it had good fuel pressure which did not drop off when the pump stopped running. I then tried to start it with the fuel rail at pressure (but the relay out so that the pump did not run). When the fuel pressure did not drop while trying to start the engine, I could tell that the injectors were not firing. I traced it down to a broken wire in the injector wiring harness. If I did not have this gauge, I would have unnecessarily bought a fuel pump and maybe a computer or a set of injectors.

Good buy.
This product was a good buy. I had used the "Actron CP7803 Vacuum and Fuel Pressure Tester Kit", though it was a HORRIBLE buy and the product had broken on me. The plastic pieces had broken off within the hose provided as it was very difficult to remove the pieces. I cannot stress enough, do not ever buy a fuel pressure tester kit/gauge without a valve release, and especially a tester gauge that does both fuel pressure test and vacuum test. It will not live up to anything.I highly regret making that mistake and could give myself a huge one about that mistake i made.(This product review)As for this product, it is everything it says and then some. Some reviews say that the lens will fog if gas touches it, but i was careful to not allow any gas to touch it by taking heed from the over reviews. The quality of this product is very good. The plastic T (tee) is slightly disappointing as it should be a quality metal instead of a plastic. It held up great though and was a durable plastic none the less. Make sure your fittings are very secure and tight when testing fuel pressure. I thought i had tightened the fittings on the hoses well enough but i was mistaken and had fuel squirt out on top of my engine and hood. Just a screwdriver quick fix, and the product performed excellent.Great buy, would give it a 4.5 to 5/5 if it had a metal T, and a tougher feeling to the gauge.

Did what I needed
Functioned and allowed me to measure the vacuum of my engine

Potential fire hazard
The media could not be loaded. Gauge works when testing pressure. However, pressure release valve leaks when depressed. Spewing fuel everywhere which is a potential fire hazard for someone not expecting it on a hot engine.*Update: I was sent a replacement and it did the same thing. Returning and getting my money back instead.

It works fine but
The pressure gauge works correctly, but when the relief valve is pressed it lets fuel escape, which could be dangerous, and my hand gets wet with fuel.

This one is a keeper!
Thought I was facing a $700 plus bill to replace a fuel pressure regulator and/or fuel pump on a 5.7L Vortec with 253,000 miles on it. Vehicle idled smoothly, but did have an occasional strong hesitation. These two conditions are somewhat contradictory so I thought check the fuel pressure as the dealership originally proposed (and they wanted to replace all the injectors). Was I shocked when the turn "key on" consistently showed 63 psi and running 57 psi. With engine off it held the pressure over 55 psi for over 15 minutes, no vacuum leak here. Cleaned the throttle plate/body and immediately saw an improvement per the scanner of the throttle position. Replaced the MAP sensor, cleaned the Mass Air Flow and used two bottles of Chevron Techron fuel system cleaner and my Vortec started running like new. The moral here is for the price and the exceptional quality of the tool you just might save yourself a lot of money. For the price and the quality of the tool, if you are suspicious of a fuel pressure issue you can't go wrong with the Equus 3640.

Great Price - works great!
For occasional use - this seems like it will do just fine - comes with adapters, hoses, complete instructions, etc. Worth even one time use compared to taking vehicle to shop (or misdiagnosing fuel pump). (I put 5 stars for accuracy, however that's my guess - basically your pump/pressure regulator are within spec, or not. +/- a pound or two not critical.
