Kinetic House-Tree-Person Drawings: K-H-T-P: An Interpretative Manual

Great resource for students studying psychology and art directives. I read this book as an undergrad and used it as a reference for my research proposal. Later, I bought a copy to refer to in my work with youth.

Book is exactly what I expected and wanted. Don't expect to get a evidence based research heavy source of info here- it is what it is. Drawings and various ways to interpret. You probably need clinical psych training to really understand how this stuff works but for me, I take it at face value and find it very interesting.

This Kinetic House, Tree Person takes a little getting use to. Yet, once I practiced with the technique, it rendered more projective information about the person than the original HTP by John Buck. I love the action-oriented approach, and so do my clients. A great tool in a practitioner's arsenal.

I've had this book in my library since the mid 1970s when I worked as the Director of Art Therapy at a private psychiatric facility in CT. For anyone who wishes to understand the subconscious wanderings within a family. Good book.

I have been dying to study this psychometric assessment and this book is simple to read and understand!

A fun book that provides interpretations and insight into individuals based on a simple drawing. If for nothing else, it provides lots of entertainment and is something to do with friends and family.

This book helps me by giving me a tool to see how children and teens are feeling about their families in an indirect manner. Children and teens love to draw pictures and now I have a resource to better understand them and then develop a plan to assist them.

Book is a good guide for House-Tree-Person Drawings analysis. Pictures are a plus. The book is an old version, but haven't found many updated versions for House-Tree-Person Drawings.
