Engineering Design and Graphics with SolidWorks 2019

I have taught from this book for ten years
Ok, I started with the 2010 version. I teach Solidworks at a community college. I like that there are mistakes in the projects; missing or duplicate dimensions. Forces students to think and come up with solutions. The text is enough to get started but certainly not a complete reference (if such a thing exists). The 2019 version added the Certified Solidworks Exam section. The navigation in the 2019 Kindle version leaves something to be desired, I prefer the 2016 version for zooming into small to read details. I have been able to adapt many of the projects from beginning all the way to advanced topics.

Good but...
My professor assigns the practice drawings at the end of every chapter for homework. However, a good chunk of the practice drawings just have missing dimensions and leave me questioning the drawings until realizing that it's just impossible to do the finished product with what you're given. I commented this to my professor and he simply said to estimate the missing dimensions. I ended up working with that but this is not how engineering is in the actual industry. The drawings often don't look like the final example they show and it's very frustrating at times. Overall I don't see much this book can teach over the many free youtube tutorials that give blueprints and tutorials on how to do the parts.
