Hamilton Beach 31335 Ensemble 6-Slice Toaster Oven, Red

So far pretty good. Bought this to replace an old other manufacturer toaster oven. I wanted something a little smaller than what I had but still wanted ability to cook a small pizza inside. This model has the rounded extension on the back to allow for a while 12 inch pizza. I have their little roll top model in my camper and that was very well built and has performed well and survived well on a bouncing camper. So I figured I'd go with a Hamilton beach for he house as well. Cooked fish the first night. Seemed to work great. Maybe not quite as hot as my old one was. But still cooked great.Things I like.- looks nice. Red paint color is great and it's nicely highlighted with stainless. It looks very nice sitting on counter.- seems to be well built. i like the stainless flat too. Seems to be a good place to keep things warm.- seems to cook well. Pretty even cooking.- I like the timer feature.- I like having mechanical knobs. On my old toaster oven the elextronic buttons wore out.- it gets very hot to touch but my cabinets have a metal heat shield. Shield is 3 inches above. Shield gets warm. But not so hot it can't be touched. And wood above stays cool. But be careful.- Price was very reasonable at $40. Not bad for a decent toaster oven. The one it is replacing was probably $60-$70. So this $40 price was quite reasonable.Things that could be changed.- shelf seems a little flexible. It sags a bit with heavier things. It needs another horizontal support welded in going right cross middle.- shelf slots are a little loose. So you can only pull the shelf out maybe 3 inches before its angled down enough due to the large slots that it just falls out.- cord length is a couple inches shy of 3 feet. So it needs to be pretty close to a plug.- they insist you unplug it when not in use. Mine plugs in to a switched outlet so no problem. But what an annoyance if you have to unplug it and replug it in. But this is probably some sort of fire code thing.- not a big fan of the knob indicators. It's hard to tell which setting your on or what temperature it's set for. They need a more definite line on each knob.- I wish they had the little brackets under the shelf to hold the baking tray like my other Hamilton beach toaster oven has. It's so nice to store it under the shelf. But this one does not have that. It's just a traditional Bake / Broil pan.- it will fit a 12 inch round pizza because the back is curved out. But it will not take a 12 inch square pizza stone. The back is rounded not square.All in all I really like it.

A good buy especially for the price. If ypu are looking for a good toaster oven without breaking the bank, this is your appliance right here. It is easy to clean and comes with a baking tray, broiling rack and toasting rack. The inside has a curved back which adds depth large enough for a 12in pizza. The front does look neat and not bulky at all just keep in mind because of the depth for the back you cant push it flushed against a wall. Has a decent temperature range and is good enough to bake cake. Timer goes up to 30 mins but it does have stay on feature so you can keep it on to bake/cook for longer. Item came well packaged so very minimal chance of damage to product during delivey transit. Highly satisfied with this toaster oven.

I bought this toaster oven because I wanted a bigger once since I moved to an apartment without an oven and I love to bake. I've baked brownies and even a layer cake in it with great results already. The only slightly annoying thing is that there is a little ridge in the side where you can take the tray and move it up higher. It would be awesome if it came with another tray that would fit in there so you could bake 2 layers of cookies at the same time (or 2 layers of cake--though they'd probably cook unevenly). I baked the layers separately and that was fine. A loaf pan and a small cupcake tin as well as an 8x8 brownie tin fit fine in it. No issues so far and it's a beautiful red color!

LOVE this toaster oven ... LOVE it in red.LOVE that you can set it on a timer and it will go off by itself.LOVE that the crumb tray pulls out from the FRONT.LOVE that it toasts bread FAST ... much faster than my previous Cuisinart toaster over.The controls are a big difficult to read/see, but once you get used to them that is really not a problem. Any small appliance has its quirks. I love that these controls are manual, not electronic. I feel they will hold up better.We cook all sorts of things in this oven and it is large enough for my Pampered Chef round and oval baking pans.I shopped and compared a LOT of brands when I needed to replace my old one and I am really glad I chose this one.LOVE it ...

After making 6 hamburgers it started on fire.

This is a great toaster oven and even greater that it comes in the color to match the decor of my kitchen. Very roomy and the three dials allows for several different cooking options.Taking out the top shelf gives you lot of room to cook items with some height to it or to toast bread.One thing to take note of and that is the stay on feature. It is just after you hear the ding that the timer has gone off. If you turn the knob past the ding you will activate the stay on feature and the toaster over will not turn off. Can be a safety issue if left on and unattended.FYI! You can buy some of those oven/grill mats and cut to the size of the toaster over to toast things like pizza without worrying about any mess.

Love the look and functionality of this. It is very bulky so not a great choice if you are short on counter space. Works a little too well, cooks more quickly than most directions state for food, so watch carefully until you get used to the timing. Not a fan of the "stay on" dial. If you accidentally go past the off setting when turning the dial to off you can mistakenly set it to stay on. Seems like a safety hazard. Luckily we just happen to be in the habit of unplugging appliances when not in use. After one month of daily use, it still looks brand new.

Llegó dañado. Roto y con abolladuras. Lo quiero regresar.
