Racing cars at a track can go from sunrise to sunset on summer weekends! With all the time in the sun, a pale-skinned person, like myself, will burn easily. Since I switched to Blue Lizard my sunburns and a week filled with pain have decreased substantially with continuous coverage on the very warm days.

If you are looking for a quality sunscreen without all the additives and harmful ingredients this is it. Yes, this is an old-school sunscreen - goes on thick and sticks to your hands when trying to wash it off in the water but it really does protect you. I live in Southern California and I am in the sun most of the time -- I have tried dozens of products and this is the only one that really made a difference.

Bought this before my winter trip to Mexico. I say winter because my husband and I were quite pale. Wore this the first day sitting by the pool all day and no burning! It’s a little thicker consistency so it wasn’t super easy to apply.

My dermatologist recommended all Blue Lizard sunscreen products for their longevity in heat and water. He said even though the package says "water resistant to 80 minutes," it lasts even longer than that. The Sport mineral based sunscreen does not contain any of the carcinogenic ingredients (as of this date) that other sunscreens have. Additionally, this product is not harmful to coral reefs. It does stay ever so slightly light on your skin, but it's not bad, seriously. Important: check the expiration date as soon as you receive your order. This product will last you all summer, so you should be sure you are not getting one that expires in only a few months.

I have never written a review before, but I really hope this helps someone. I have very pale, sensitive skin. While on vacation, I spent all day floating down a river in Arkansas in July. I applied this one time an hour before we left the house and did not re-apply. I did not get a sunburn! Others in my group were not so lucky. I will never use anything else!

I've used this sunscreen for years. It was recommended by my esthetician because I've had a lot of skin cancer removed and I needed excellent protection. I wouldn't call it greasy, but I always feel like I need to wash my hands after applying (which I shouldn't because my hands are part of the cancer problem). I don't notice it the same way on the rest of my body. It's a must-have for me.

My son went to an all-day two-day outdoor music festival and came home with zero sunburn even after being on the beach literally all day for two blazing hot sunny days. My sister in law recommended this (she's a doctor and uses this on her own kids). Best recommendation ever. I even use this myself when I know I'm going to be spending extended time outside, it's not greasy, does not break out my face at all and while it takes a bit to rub it all in, you know you're covered everywhere you rub it in. Great Sunblock lotion, really the best I've used in my 40+ years.
