Fireproof Briefcase Style Bag Lockable (Black)

Can't rate fire properties as unwilling to test. However, is lined. Reminds me of an old fashioned bookbag, only larger. It is a heavy fabric but much easier to carry and lift than even a smallish fireproof lockbox and holds a lot more. Is something easily stored in a closet, I bought two in different colors, so could easily pick out the one I wanted. Holds more than I thought. I did not get a lock, if someone came and wanted it, they could just carry it out. Not intended as a fire safe, but if not at the center of a blaze, looks like it would work. The chances of my apartment catching fire are on the low side, and even lower that my apartment would be the center of an inferno. Works for me.

This is good sized bag to hold important documents. Stitching and material seem very durable and the velcro works well. I haven't had a chance to test it and don't want to either, but I did put my documents in a waterproof sack so that they don't get humid. It does not weigh a lot, but is extremely sturdy. Hopefully it will hold up for many years.

This bag is huge! I bought to hold all the family documents and other misc stuff in the gun safe. It's a super nice bag but make sure you have room for it before buying it. Cannot give 5 stars due to not knowing if it really works as advertised and let's hope I dont.

This is my first purchase of a fire resistant briefcase so I don't have any comparisons to make. The product appears to resemble the photo on Amazon. However, it is a simple zipper and there is still an opening under the flap where ash, embers, etc. could get into the bag. The bag is described as having a lock, but what this really means is the zipper tag has small pin that clips. There is no actual lock preventing someone from getting into the bag. Mine did not have any padlock or keys.

We purchased to put all our paperwork (wills, birth certificates, deeds, etc) and backup hard drive and put in our Liberty gun safe. Just provides additional protection in case of fire etc. Glad we purchased the larger size as it holds everything in one place. The bag is heavy duty and well made. Would recommend to anyone.

Hope to never find out if this bag really works but can say it is substantial, heavy duty and well made. It is an expensive bag but cost is minor compared to losing important documents.

This bag carries lots more than I thought. Definitely much lighter than the heavy portable safes I used to use. Thank you!

The briefcase style is just right to carry my important papers in when I travel.
