Delta-Faucet RP19820 Tub Spout for Pull-Up Diverter, Chrome

I bought this tub spout because I was updating my tub fixtures and changing from a chrome to a stainless steel finish. This spout is exactly like the one I replaced, which made it easy to install. At first, the stainless steel finish showed water spots terribly. I decided to oil it, just as is commonly done with other stainless steel finishes. I used olive oil and it largely cured the water spot problem. I imagine I will get many years of use from this spout.

I had to consult with Delta about whether this would fit the adapter soldered onto the Copper pipe. Just screwed it on and ready to go.

Not a drip with the diverter up! What more could you ask for?I had the old Delta adapter soldered on my pipe from years ago. This replacement part was an exact fit, so I just re-used the old Delta adapter.

Used to replace older polished brass spout. The old spout had 1/2 mIp threads coming through the ceramic about 3/4 inch. The Delta adaptor for this spout worked perfectly..

First off, disn't use it. Seems to be the now standard Delta metal over plastic. I ended up using the Lahara version which is similarly constructed. Works fine. It uses the O ring to seal inside. I have the installation down so it's no biggie. I would recommend, but I still prefer all metal threaded connections.

I ordered 2 Delta shower diverter tubes, top control. Got 1 part correct, the other diverter was not the same, yet same part # on box. GM lawsuit over keyswitch should have fixed this issue. What's you're excuse? I'm out $28 now, and shower, until you correct situation

Exactly what I needed. Referred by Delta Customer Support to this page after sending a picture of my current unit. Works great, doesn't leak a drop with diverter up.
