I was thinking all of these would be a bit smaller. The 3 large ones were too big to stand up in my cabinet due to the back shelf hitting it. They were also too big to comfortably fit in the dishwasher. Thank goodness I had a great handyman cut these 3 down and curve the corners just like the originals and they look great. They are easy to use and clean. I don't really understand if there is a difference between them. Each has a different icon on it, like bread, fruit, and something else. They all feel the same to me. But I am happy with them now that they are a size I like.When I first got them, I washed the "2" by hand, the bamboo one and the other vinyl "one". As I was using the vinyl one, I moved it there was a "second" board. Hah. So I washed it. After drying it and playing with it, I discovered a "third" board. They kept multiplying. I had thought there were supposed to be more than 2 boards, but I sure didn't see them initially!

I ordered this because I didn't want to cut meat on wooden boards anymore. The colors were appealing to me and the price was almost unbeatable. It did come in a very nice box, so yes, it would make for a great gift and I'm sure I'll get it for one of my friends eventually. The pairing knife was a nice add on, I actually use it quite frequently! The mats themselves show cutting marks pretty quickly, but most of the cutting mats do. It sticks to my counter top nicely and I absolutely love the square shape of them for cutting. But it is an inconvenience for cleaning them. Although dishwasher safe, there is no way for me to get it into my dishwasher properly, so I have to hand wash it and face the same problem with my drying rack. It's better to let it dry on a towel. Drying it off right away has only worked with a quality paper towel so far, as it does collect lints easily. But that's really the only downside for me so far.

I've used the plastic chopping boards from Bartollo. They are amazing. Perfect in size as well as grip the counter so the board doesn't move. The knife is a free gift, and I feel it's ok but not a good quality knife. Some items tear more than get cut. It depends on what you're cutting. I should buy several packs of these boards because they would make amazing gifts.

I have only used the knife and bamboo board so far, and I just have to say I am really impressed with the knife! I use a $200 chef knife most days, but I definitely approve of using this little guy to slice cucumbers, tomatoes, etc.

The ceramic knife was sharp and amazing, but it's broken now. Probably my fault, it is ceramic. I will definitely get again, just be easy with pressure on the knife.The boards are easy to clean.

Arrives in a lovely Bartollo box totally suitable for gift-giving. I honestly can't believe I only paid $10 for this set! This would make a wonderful gift for anyone setting up a kitchen or a housewarming. I hang these on a hook on my kitchen cart which makes storing them so easy. Great set! I highly recommend!

Love the separate cutting boards for neat, bread and vegetables. They are non slip and easy to clean.

I bought these so that I could quickly chop a small fruit or vegetable for lunch with out soiling my large butchers block. These are cute, easy to wipe off, and store nicely. For whatever reason I didn't realize it came with a small paring knife, but that was a nice touch. I believe the paring knife is ceramic, so I'm curious to see how long that will hold up. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase. The presentation is nice if you want to gift them.
