Product Description They are gone too soon. Precious little ones lost through miscarriage, stillbirth, and infant death. However brief their lives, they are not soon forgotten. And the pain of their loss is very real to parents and family. This book is a tenderly crafted message of comfort and counsel for those who have lost, or for those who know someone who has lost little children. Author Sherri D. Wittwer, who knows the poignant reality of such a loss, writes from a Latterday Saint perspective of special gospel insights that can bring comfort and aid in the healing process as well as strengthen faith in the Lord. Wittwer draws on her own, as well as others', moving experiences and reflections as she discusses the grieving process for parents and siblings and the spiritual resolution that makes acceptance possible. She portrays the pain, disbelief, anger, acceptance, and finally the peace of those who have endured this difficult trial. With them, you'll come to understand the kindness and mercy of a loving Father in Heaven who has promised a special place in His kingdom for those precious, angel babies. About the Author Sherri Devashrayee Wittwer a lifelong resident of Salt Lake City, holds a degree in English from the University of Utah. When she lost a son through miscarriage, she began looking for Church books as a source of comfort. To my surprise, she recalled there were no available books that dealt with this specific sort of grief. I desperately wanted answers, so I was sure there must be many others like my husband and me. So the idea of this book was born.

Comforting to feel less alone
I found this comforting after experiencing miscarriages and have given copies of it to friends and family members after they’ve experienced loss also. I do not know that I agree with everything in the book but do find it comforting to read the experiences of other women and to feel less alone. Written with a Latter-day Saint perspective.

Beautifully written and full of comfort
This book brought so much comfort after I lost my baby. My daughter was gone too soon at 20 weeks gestation due to cervical incompetence and I’m so grateful for the recommendation of this book. The chapters at the end specifically written to different audiences were wonderful. I’ve since given it to a few friends and family members who have lost babies.

A blessing to anyone who has miscarried or had a still born baby
This book is for those of us who believe in God and want to understand and receive assurances that our baby is important and has a place in God's kingdom. I first bought this book for my daughter and son-in-law whose baby boy was still born at 20 weeks. She told me it helped her a great deal in her grieving process. I read it and it helped me also. I now give it to every couple I know who has miscarried or had a baby delivered who did not live.

This is a great book and has helped out. I did not know that it was LDS based when I purchased it. But grateful I have read it and I am ready to pass it on to help other Moms!

This book was a comfort to us.
This was a comforting book at the time we lost a grandchild. Thank you. Some grieving individuals may not be ready to receive such a book in the midst of the trauma, especially if they don't happen to share the same spiritual beliefs, but it was good for us. We appreciate the author taking the time to write the book. God bless all those who have lost a loved one too soon.

Great book, wished there was a bit more on the Doctrine/beliefs, but fantastic read. Covered so many topics and issues. Easy to read and concise.
