Used for quick drain down of central heating system. Quiet and cool running. Looks well made for such a cheap pump. You would not get the motor for this price!

Good product for my garden irrigation system.

I could 't place pump immediately above my water storage tank, (as it is under the lawn) therefore the pump could not draw 5mt. horizontally to the various sprinklers. The priming screw needs a socket or screwdriver to use. I welded a washer to this screw which made it much easier but means I cannot return it, my fault. Regards Colin.

Been running this pump for a few weeks now on a rotary drum filter, so far perfect.

This is a case of you get what you pay for.It works fine.It definitely needs priming, won’t self prime at all (it doesn’t claim to). I didn’t prime it initially and motor strains and doesn’t spin. For my application pump was placed lower than water level, so priming was easy, connect to inlet, and let gravity push water out of top.It pumped water along 50m of standard garden hose (need adaptors to connect it to bsp fitting) and a height gain of about 2mAs other reviewers have noted, it rusts. After a period of not using, priming again spewed some rusty water.It had also seized, but I took off the impeller housing, ran it and it freed, and then worked ok again with housing back on

Bought this pump for a filtration system for a hot tub, ended up seeing the water turn brown with rust. The pump housing is untreated mild steel which is rusting on the inside. Definitely not suitable for fresh water / pond / filtration system. I see a couple people saying they are using as a fresh water boost pump - most definitely do not drink water that had come out of this thing

Used for garden watering, good delivery and better than expected delivery.
