Bought this a few years ago. It does the job...or at least did till the rabbits chewed through it! so good value for money just don't leave it in reach of chewing animals! The unchewed sections are still working fine so can't complain.

This was great value for the money, the hose does its job but kinks easily. The length is great and the rose gun is the best.

When I opened the package I was pleased to see the Grey/Green Spray Gun Kit instead of the yellow bits that were pictured. The grey plastic 'spray pattern twist knob' has a nice 'soft rubber' finish. The spray gun has 7 settings, most people will find three truly useful.I used some teflon tape on the threads of my tap. The draper plastic fitting has a nice thick rubber gasket that should be drip free. However, plastic to metal threads can be problematic so better safe than sorry.I dipped the ends of the hose in hot water before installing the hose ends. One is "off unless a nozzle is attached", the feature works very well. I was happy to find that when I used the spray gun I did not need to keep my other hand on the hose to keep the fitting drip free. The fitting allows a little bit of play but the o-ring keeps everything dry and all the water goes where you want it.The hose was very tightly wound, to reduce packaging costs I assume. It was 62F outside when the box from amazon was delivered. I undid the wrapping and was able to pull 10meters out across the lawn with no kinks and the hose lay flat and straight. It seems to be made of thick soft rubber, I didn't measure the claimed 2mm thickness but it looks about right. I will use this in the winter to rinse salt off the car; perhaps it might kink and coil then, I will update my review if I have problems in colder temps. It was freezing and snowing this March so perhaps that explains the other bad reviews?I know there have been some problems reported by other reviewers. I am glad I didn't have any as this was a very good deal for an 'under 20pound hose and spray kit'. I received the Draper stock number 56447 hose and Draper stock number 89481 spray gun kit. The hose is made in GB, the 5 piece spray gun kit is imported. I would recommend it.

I looked around on Amazon at a few similar items, I had a 20m reel and wanted a longer one. A few of the cheaper alternatives seem to have mixed reviews and as Draper is a well respected Brand Name I decided to spend a few pounds more to purchase this item (I still saved over ten pounds on similar items at well known do it all stores) and it was elegible for free delivery too. The accessory set i received was different to the picture shown, but in my opinion is of higher quality, its a very nice Draper accessory set with multi-function spray gun. The hose itself has nice thick walls and i cannot see how it would kink like my old thin one used to. All in all i am very impressed with this product.

I was really surprised to connect this hose up and find that it had two leaks with water spraying out of them. I was even more surprised that when the second one arrived it too had two leaks, all be it they were smaller slower ones. There really seems to be a quality issue with this hoses manufacture which surprised me as I have bought Draper stuff before and not been disappointed. Maybe it is just a bad batch but really infuriating, especially as I was buying it for my mother. On the plus side I discovered how easy it is to return bulky items to Amazon now with collect+ having had to do it twice.

I think the product is worth the money especially for the different attachments, however mine came with a leak, just think its a fluke and would buy this product again

Works well, easy to fit and even the spray gun is good! The supplied attachments were grey and dark green, not as the picture, but better. Well worth taking a while to fully unwind the hose before using it to make sure it is as flat and straight as possible without any twists before you use it or wind it onto a real. If you just pull it hard - as with any hose you can kink it - and it'll probably always kink in than place after that! 5mins when you buy it is well worth the effort to help it last, which I'm sure it will. Very pleased with it.

The product was as described in the advert. It was delivered on time and appears to be reasonable value for money. Anyone buying this item however should also consider purchasing an alternative tap connector. The item included in this pack leaks more water from the connector than the hose pipe end!

Der Schlauch, besitzt eine Art Gewebefaden, welches ihn stabil macht und das Umknicken verhindert. Ich kann auch sagen, das ihm bei längerem Sonneneinstrahlung nichts passieren wird.Natürlich, weiß ich auch, das es Schläuche gibt, die sogar einen Feuer überleben würden. Aber soviel Geld will ich auch nicht ausgeben.Trotzdem, hat dieser Schlauch einen Wasserstrahl mit ca. 70 bar aus meinem Hochdruckreiniger überlebt.Die mitgelieferten Anschlüsse sind im unterem Preissegment anzusetzen. Trotzdem, sind sie stabil und sitzen gut bis sehr gut am Schlauch und am Wasserhahn.Jetzt müßte man nur schauen, ob der Hersteller , die jetzige Qualität , für diesen Preis auch für die Zukunft halten kann.
