Luster Leaf 1638 Rapitest Rain Gauge with Mounting Bracket

The product is great, but it arrived with the box pretty crushed due to being mailed in a puffy mailer. The thin cardboard wouldn't hold up to that. It's part of a gift, so I'll have to explain it's beat up condition when I give it to the recipient.

We wanted a larger rain gauge that we could see from the window.

Works fine, looks good but comes with 3 sections of rod for post that are supposed to screw together. Unfortunately, one section I received didn't seem to have threads cut in female end. Fortunately, section that sticks into the ground and the other rod did screw together and that assembly did screw into gauge holder. So I have a functional, nice looking, sturdy rain gauge, just not as tall as it is supposed to be.

We have gone through several rain gauges in the past few years. This one is the best one yet. Easy to read; can see the level of rain from a few feet away.

This is a very cheaply made flimsy gauge. We wanted one that could withstand the winter but this one seems like it won't last long. The box is more durable than the plastic cylinder and actually weighs more! Had I seen this first, I never would have ordered it. The "metal" spiral is so thin and flexible it seems like it will break off in a strong wind.

Meh, it's okay. it does the job but it tilts over and the pole isn't straight. I wish i would have spent more money on something else.

This rain gauge is very cute in the garden and the opening at the top is very large. Other people have mentioned that the stake does not stay together very well. We had to be careful putting it in the ground, but we had a huge rain with very high winds this weekend that blew over many trees around us, but this rain gauge did not blow over and measured very accurately.

No problems here. Mine wasnt flimsy, which I was worried it would be. So far so good.

Very simple ,cheap and easy to use water gauge . I got sick of buying fancy units to measure rainfall which work well for for a year then act up and quit. All you have to do now is read the water level in the gauge and then dump it out.

It measures the rain! What else could you ask for?
