Fintie Folio Case for Microsoft Surface RT/Surface 2 10.6 inch Tablet Slim Fit with Stylus Holder (Does Not Fit Windows 8 Pro Version) - Black

I have a full, busy life and I do a lot of traveling and work in a busy office. This Fintie Folio case is like magic, it keeps my surface safe from damage to the screen or casing. It makes it so easy to pick up, open up anywhere and work. It is great for traveling and makes your Surface so compact that you do not have to fight with bulky cases. Just open, prop up the stand and work from your desk or your lap. It is a great option for a traveler as it is convenient at the airport to put through the x-ray at security. No fighting with large computer bags, having to open them up and take your computer out just to run it through security and then having to repack it when you are done in the security line. I absolutely love it and have already recommended it to my family and friends that own a Surface. I was given the opportunity to try this Fintie Folio Case for free for my unbiased opinion. If you've been trying to figure out which cover to buy between all the ones on amazon then read this.There's several problems with all the choices of cases for the surface. There's the problem of the edges not allowing swipe gestures, the keyboard bouncing around because its laying halfway on the case, the magnets in some cases causing the surface to not connect with the keyboard, the case being built so that it doesn't close with the keyboard attached and a few others that i forgot.Anyways this I found is probably the best option. The magnets do not cause connection problems and it was built so that a little more of the sides show allowing for the swipe gestures. This case is firm all around and provides good protection. I haven't encountered any of Those problems.I originally had the Elyse case or whatever it was and it didn't provide as much protection only the backboard was strong and it didn't allow swipe gestures. Other than that it is the same as this case but since they're the same price this one is a much better deal.By the way I got the FOLIO CASE not the other option

I got the black. It got here within 2 days, which is very quick. It looks good, the cutout are where they are supposed to be. It fits well w/o moving around & there is an elastic strap to hold the cover closed. As a cover though, it serves the purpose while looking good.** I am editing my comment & adding a star.- I originally posted that I didn't feel the kickstand was sturdy enough. The reason mine didn't seem to be sturdy is because I had the unit in it upside down. Duh! I even posted that " the cutouts are where they are supposed to be". (I left that up there) I discovered this when I went to use the camera & couldn't find the button. ( My first tablet) I worked in the cellular industry for a decade & a half , I should know better.So for those of you who thought the same thing, check to make sure you have the tablet installed correctly. My apologies to the seller. This cover is perfectly functional & a good buy.

Pros1. It has a premium look and feel to it.2.Its pretty slim and feels like your carrying a notebook.3.the strap is pretty useful.*And that's just about all the pros*Cons1. If you planning on having a keyboard attached or using the keyboard a lot with this case, FORGET IT. If you try to fold the keyboard back with the case it will just unhook from the Surface.2. If you put it in tabletop mode, it's not very stable. Nor is it to look at it comfortably and be productive.3. It's can be too flappy and it can be a hassle switching from opening, closing or switching positions.2. It's somewhat protective, it does NOT protect the corners. However, it does protect the front and back a little bit.3.When you put the tablet in the "holder" it slides around a bit so its not totally secure. So if your going to use the rear view camera then you might need to do some adjustments.4. The cut out holes are a little off. Sorry, I'm a perfectionist.5.the flap that suppose to secure the flap is not very secure.Overall, I DO NOT recommend this case. This is my first time doing a review on Amazon but forreal though, trust this review, you have been warned.

*****updated, company contacted me about my issue and tried everything to resolve it. Said that it could have been a defective cover. They sent me a new one and it fits perfect now. THANK YOU SO MUCH. ****Bought the cover thinking it would fit my Surface RT but it DID NOT. I tried not to stretch it out but there was no way. I ended up bending one of the corners and breaking the edge just to try and make it fit, I saw some reviews that expressed my same complaint but I still decided to order it. Should have listened, now I have to purchase another cover : (.

I’ve had this for a while and use it all the time. I haven’t had any issues and it’s holding up well

Caused damage to the surface charger due to the position of the case when on tablet
