Terrible piece of equipment
This is HANDS DOWN the worst tagger I have ever used, by a country mile. It’s constantly breaking pins off and makes tagging more difficult than it should be. Look elsewhere for a tagger, because this one ain’t it.

Great design!
I ordered this for my dad's Christmas gift, so we have used it yet. We use All-flex two piece tags, but my dad kept ripping our calves ears with the All-flex total tagger. So I ordered this hoping it would work with the All-flex two piece tags, and it does! It works great, I put an ear tag together with just not on an ear. I highly recommend this tagger.

Easy release after tagging
This works very well as long as you keep the calf or cow from jerking as the pin will misalign from the tag if there is any movement. I just leave the pin in place and reset the tag and crimp it again. After the pin is inserted into the tag the tagger automatically releases without any tearing of the ear.
