not your “normal” origami paper but very nice expensive quality. All I did turned out beautiful! Will order again!

I bought this not for origami but for my katana's tsukamaki and saya, but I started on my bokken to make sure that the paper can be glued and clear coated with no problems. I am doing a blue and white recolor to my whole katana and so I wanted a really special washi paper to be used that matches the color scheme as my ito sageo is also blue. The magical act of giving a special gift to my katana will also bring good luck and good karma to the sword, so I also have Japanese incense to enhance the washi paper.As my pictures show, I used the washi paper to make cutouts of tessellations (based off Tenchu Kurenai), running wolves, and the Pleiades using septagrams as seen from Earth and as seen from Sirius. My katana was supposed to be themed off Finland but it kind of took a direction of its own as I went along.I also bought a second one as a gift because of how presentable this washi paper is, to go with a blue Japanese lacquer plate with gold and silver under coat.

This is excellent paper..almost cloth like so it doesnt tear like other papers. I wish I could get this in other patterns and colors

This paper is absolutely beautiful! I make origami and give to people and they really love this Japanese paper.

Often its hard to discriminate between very high quality paper and others. This is especially true when the same pattern can be found on a wide variety of papers.This is durable, colors appear to be screen printed with many passes versus the machine printed variety. The paper has depth.I use this paper to fold origami. This paper is durable and can be wet folded or dry folded.

The cost price for small amt given and the size of it isn't very large. Had to return. Gonna look elsewhere.
