Great product! Just like original material. Two packs filled the tank perfectly. This stuff is very hard to cut. We tried a sharp knife then sharp scissors, both would not hardly touch it. Then, my wife suggested our butter knife with the serrated edge. It worked great!

This pad is courser than I really wanted; however, it looks like it will do the job. I cut it to size and put the piece into use on the day I received it and it seems to be holding up well. It is a challenge to cut. I used a soldering iron to smooth the cut edges. For the next piece I will invest in a cutting attachment for the soldering gun. Judging by the size of the pad, I should be able to get six individual filters out of this one after cutting.

This Is a nice quality biofilter mat. You will need to use heat to cut it to size, I used a soldering iron and it worked very well. I use it in my skimmer box as a 3rd line after the basket and hanging brushes. It’s large enough that I have a replacement Matt if this one wears out.

Order arrived very timely, have only been using a few days but so far I am very happy with the product, water seems clearer and product stays stiff and is easy to clean. The only problem was cutting it to size, I read some of the other reviews and they mentioned using a some type of heating saw, but I pulled out the trusty electric knife and it worked just fine.
