This is as advertised. I did have an issue with it whereby in order to get it tight enough to not slip on my handlebar, it scratched off the black finish of my handlebar. After, we thought to add a strip of rubber from an old inner-tube between the handlebar and the clamp; that worked great providing a secure mount without further damage to the handlebar. The other issue I had, was that I couldn’t rotate the camera when in the mount on the handlebar - I expect that is user error, but I never could figure it out. It would rotate in the mount off the handlebar. Because of that, I stopped using it, but I may give it another go at some point.

I bought this for my husband. He wanted to mount his new camera on his Harley. However the mount that came with his camera wouldn't quite fit around his handle bars. His bars are a hair over 1.25".I bought this mount because it said it would fit. It does fit, but the threads that are actually screwed in are minimal. I would prefer a few more threads for good measure, personally.We have had a test run with the camera. It stayed in place and didn't move. It survived about 150 miles round trip at over highway speeds.

I like that this came with a key to tighten it so tight it won't come loose and people can't steal camera easily

Used this to attach a GoPro to my dive light. Had in the ocean for a week of diving and happy to report no rust! Great product, high quality, highly recommend.

I dont like buying things that I have never seen. Got this today and I must say it is so much better than I expected. Put it on my motorcycle and road around. It is really good so I just ordered 2 more.

I have three 8's. I use them everywhere. Especially on my Victory Vegas 8 Ball (It's a bike thing).Bought this item along with a Gopro original handlebar mount to test one against the other.1. Gopro works with Everything Gopro. However the rotation is sooo lacking. I can't get the "perfect" angle of view.2. This updated 360 is spot on with angle. You can get ANY angle you want. It is all metal save the rubber cushions (the contact area so handlebars aren't scratched). But that is where it may have faults. For a basic 8 it is perfect. Use the wrench and it tightens wicked like. Also if you use the 8 in the "roll cage" (you can still use the wrench and get it wicked tight). But...you need the wrench to get the metal to "clamp down" sufficiently with the metal ears of the 8. There is no flexing plastic. This is metal on metal. Finger tightening is not possible unless you are Ironman.3. If you have a "Media Mod" however, it will not work. The screws are not long enough. The media mod lengthens the entire unit by almost 1/4 inch. You will not be able to use the wrench, I know, I have one.4. If the screws were engineered to be used with the media mod, this would be perfect.

I wasn't able to adjust the Gopro 9 camera properly on my bike seat post. Wanted the camera on the chain side so if I laid the bike down the camera wasn't on the ground... that was fine and now the camera is mounted upside down, again FINE. The problem is it slightly touches my thigh when pedaling my bike. Not bad but could be better. Ordered a 90 degree elbow mount adaptor waiting on delivery.

love thats it's all aluminum. love it. my only complaints.... doesn't come with rubber strips to put as spacers for the post and prevent slippage.The other thing but might be like this on every mount out there is that the adapter to mount either camera or gopro to this equipment is simply flat. There are no microscopic rigiges or rugged surface so that when it's tighten, it has a better grip. Therefore, as much as you want to tighten the mounting adapter, there will be a bit of adjusting after a while unless your camera is super lightweight.otherwise, love it.

Awesome value: price, function, delivery. I am using this to hold my PowerPod power meter in place while facilitating moving the instrument from one bike to the next without delay or hassle. If I could give 6 stars, I would.

I purchased this mainly to attach to my bike and the build quality is impressive for the price. It is also pretty versatile in that it supports a large number of mounting options. Well worth the purchase and I would recommend this product in particular and the manufacturer in general.

This mount is an excellent piece of gear for your action camera. I mounted mine on my motorcycle and it keeps my camera mounted nice and solid to the engine guard. Makes for some real nice camera footage of my rides.

This seems fairly well built but the connector for the gopro case doesn't fit. Which makes the whole thing kind of useless. I would suggest avoiding this one until they get their manufacturing tolerances down.
