Yes Very Good
Does take about 2 weeks to get here but that's better than the seller advertised. It did come well boxed and packaged and it is an excellent Bird Feeder. Its Big and well designed and looks very attractive hanging from a tree. I filled it with sunflower hearts and barely put my ladder away before their were Finches on it. I have now given my little Finch and Blue Tit family a happy morning dilemma for breakfast.....Sunflower Hearts or Nyjer Seeds ?????. I recommend this feeder.

Jumbo Sized & Well Designed
Perky Pet Grand Chalet Wild Bird Feeder• This really is a Grand Chalet Feeder for the garden birds. It is HUGE! It is a pretty pagoda shaped feeder that can be hung up or mounted on a pole.• The Grand Chalet is made of nice thick quality plastic, with the green coloured sections having a matte finish and the transparent section being smooth and shiny.• The hanging facility is a steel cord which has a push button lock system at the top, to secure the unit closed to prevent squirrels lifting up the lid to get to the bird food.• Filling the Bird Feeder is simplicity itself, just press the button on the sure lock and lift up the roof of the feeder, fill with seeds, replace the roof by pressing the lock button and release once securely in place.• The exit places for the seeds are a good size to allow free flow.• The outer edge of the floor of the feeder has small drainage holes to try and keep dry, any seeds that have slid out on to that area.• The floor of the Feeder can be loosened for washing. Just press the lock button at the top of the steel cord, then the floor can be twisted loose and pulled down for washing. It does NOT totally disconnect, all three parts of the Feeder are anchored to the steel cord, but once it is loosened it makes it easier to wash out the Feeder.Having a Wild Birder Feeder of the proportions that this one is may mean that you will need only one, rather than several smaller ones. However, remember that if you fill it to the top with seeds etc, not only will the unit be very heavy, but even when protected from the elements, uneaten seeds do go off after a while. My advice is to not totally fill, but start small and increase as necessary, so you can see how greedy your feathered visitors are.At time of writing this Review the RRP is £19.99 which given the size and quality of this Wild Bird Feeder, is about right.

Big!
This is a nice bird feeder but be warned - it's big!At first glance I thought the feeder was broken. When I removed it from the box it seemed to be in three pieces, but the base, clear central section, and the "roof" are all threaded onto a steel cable with a loop in the end, which allows you to hang it from a hook or a branch, plus as the bottom is completely flat you could always stand it on the ground or a table. The green "spike" running from the base of the feeder up through the centre is hollow, allowing the feeder to be mounted on a pole if you wish. The clear central section has lugs around its base, which slide into a raised lip in the centre of the tray, and then a twist locks it into place. I suspect that this is to allow for easier cleaning of the feeder. At the top of the roof there is a button, which you press and the lid can then be slid down the cable, closing the feed compartment off securely. I had no problem with opening or closing the feeder. The clear central section can hold a lot of food, albeit in a single compartment, so this isn't a feeder which is split into sections into which you can put different types of food. The holes at the bottom are of a good size, and seed seems to spill nicely into the tray.Niggles? The tray at the bottom is solid and doesn't have holes in it for drainage, so if it rains it holds water. The cable length can't be adjusted, and is quite long, so if you're hanging this from a feeding station it may end up a bit lower than you planned. It's also made entirely of plastic and although solid, feels a bit cheap. Overall, if you're looking for a bird feeder and want something that you can put a lot of seed into, this may tick all the boxes for you.

Easy to clean and a generous size
This bird feeder is a must if like me you have a lot of birds in your garden it holds a good amount of seed. The hanging cable is wire which is reassuring that it won't easily fall and the handy toggle to move the lid up and down makes for an easy refill. I also like that it's plastic and easy to wipe down. A good practical feeder for your garden.

Well made and large feeder
I have been using this bird feeder to feed my garden birds. I hang it from a branch of one of my trees in the garden. The feeder is made of a sturdy plastic and it can contain a large amount of seed. I fill it with sunflower hearts and get Goldfinches, Siskins and Tits feeding from it regularly. There is plenty of room for several birds at a time to feed due to its size. I usually put in over a kilo of seed and it will obviously get heavy so I would suggest you hang it from something that will take the weight and is also reasonably high up as the metal chord is quite long. Its a robust large feeder and feels well made so should last a lot of use. Its quite easy to refill whilst hanging as you can lift top of the feeder up whilst it remains hanging. I would recommend cleaning it regularly if it gets wet as the seed husks after the birds have eaten can start clogging up the drainage holes. In order to clean the feeder you will need to remove it. I use very diluted washing up liquid with water to clean it thoroughly. This prevents viruses/bacteria building on it that can harm birds. Overall I am very pleased with the feeder which is very good quality.
