Note that the plastic is not the hard shiny stuff you find on normal mains sockets, but a much lighter gauge plastic with a matt finish.The terminals are gold plated, and seem to be good quality.One word of advice - because the terminals are gold plated, they conduct heat very quickly, and if you linger too long with the soldering iron, you will soften and distort the plastic spacers. So it's a good idea to undo and remove the solder terminals first before soldering them. Wait to cool down and then reassemble.
