After 14 years of occasional use original ladle busted (the weld). I was super thrilled that after such a long time I could easily purchase the exact same model/design. It was more expensive than I was hoping to pay. If this one lasts 14 years I'll up my rating to 5 :-)

Great Ladle
Wife and I are very happy with this ladle. We just purchased a second one. Great Japanese quality. We bought a set Yamazaki's silverware as well.

Beautiful soup ladle
This soup ladle is beautiful and goes well with my other kitchen utensils. I am glad I bought it.

Seemed nice when I got it, but after a few months it was dropped on the floor and the ladle snapped right off the handle. It was clear they were cheaply attached with glue, so buy this for looks if you want, but be careful because it's not sturdy.
