Product is very good, gave the extra angle I needed and the plastic used is not cheapo crappy plastic.It's hard !!! And I can tell it should last a few good years, mine is in the shade, but should still stand up against direct sun light as well.

It doesnt fit my siding.

I am using this wedge with a Google Nest Wired 2nd Generation. The wedge and the faceplate are well made, better than I expected and sturdy. I ended up just using the wedge ("Pill"), not the faceplate as the surface area is much larger (as expected) with the plate and it didn't fit my installation. There is a nice template for drilling the holes but the installation information on the website was for the older Nest first gen and not specific to the 2nd gen.The big issue I encountered was that the Wedge didn't properly work with my doorbell. With the 2nd gen wired Nest, there are two metal disks that connect to two holes on the mounting plate, that you then slide the nest down into to connect it firmly.The problem with the wedge is that there is a recessed area where the screw holes of the mounting plate align. When I did the installation, since the screw hole area was recessed, the mounting plate ended up flush with the wedge, giving no space for the metal disks to enter and slide down. I tried a number of different solutions, like loosening the screws or even using the foam spacers in the Nest kit, but those left the doorbell loose and not secure to the wedge. I finally solved the problem by using two metal 6mm washings I had left over in my garage, which allowed the screw holes (which are slightly raised themselves) to sit flush against the pill and the actual plate to have the small amount of room need to catch the metal disks. I know this sounds confusing but once you have both the wedge and the doorbell, it is pretty obvious.I think the wedge needs to be different for the Nest Wired 2nd Gen or washers need to be included.

I bought this because my door bell sits on the side wall next to my front door. If I had I stalled the simplisafe door bell even the fish eye camera wouldnt be very useful. I really didn't need to make adjustments. Just screwed it in, plugged in the camera and presto. Worked like a charm. Now I have a great view on my camera. Totally worth it!
