I've used this chimnea for a year now and it has been great. I found that it works well on chilly evenings and mornings with temperatures down into the 40's. Once you get into the 30's it doesn't put off enough heat to keep you warm. I find it to be well made. Many times I will burn it with the grate door open to allow maximum heat out. Once you are done, just close the grate door and let it burn out. It drafts well and keeps the smoke away from you - so I don't smell like smoke after sitting by the fire for an evening. The assembly was easy and it looks great on the patio. I placed it on a large flat stone to protect the patio surface from heat. The one thing about this chimnea is that I do have to cut the firewood into smaller pieces to fit the firebox - but I like to cut and split wood - so I'm in my element. Great product overall.

Nice Chiminea
The chiminea came well packaged - every piece wrapped in cardboard. The assembly instructions were easy to follow; the chimineas could be assembled without instructions, but the instructions provide an order of assembly. Everything went together well, however I had to loosen pre-assembled parts and adjust to get the best fit. Also, I drilled some "dimples" in the chimney for the set screws to "set" in. Without the dimples, the chimney tended to slide upward as I tightened the screws. I realize the chiminea is cast aluminum so I did not expect parts to fit perfectly. I recommend this chiminea. It's relaxing to sit and watch the fire after a long day.

DO NOT PURCHASE! ARRIVED DAMAGED! PARTS WERE DIFFERENT COLORS! VERY SMALL!!
ABSOLUTELY THE BIGGEST WASTE OF MONEY I HAVE EVER SPENT! MY HUSBAND WANTED TO GO AND PURCHASE IN A STORE WHERE WE COULD VIEW AND TOUCH, BUT I PURCHASED ONLINE! ITEM ARRIVED WITH THE BOTTOM HANDLE(THE ONE ALREADY ATTACHED) BENT ALMOST BEYOND REPAIR. VERY CHEAPLY BUILT! ONE OF THE 3 LEGS IS A TOTALLY DIFFERENT COLOR THAN THE REST OF THE PIECES! IT LOOKS FUNNY ON OUR PATIO, LOOKS LIKE IT BELONGS IN A KIDS DOLL HOUSE. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE!! TOTAL WASTE OF YOUR MONEY!
