The media could not be loaded.  I have a few of these for my security setup. We just had the coldest February in 140 years with many temps of -10 F and lower. These cameras performed like a champ. Only had to reset twice in over 6 months. Great integration with Blue Iris software and many other NVRs. The image quality from these things is first rate. I tried a 720P camera with a 3x optical zoom which had a terribly grainy quality for $249.99. I returned it and bought these. The image quality was so great at 3 megapixels that using a digital zoom, it had a better quality picture than the other camera with an optical zoom at roughly half the price. I have had three different Foscams and while the 9131P is pretty good, this thing blows it out of the water. POE is great on these and highly adjustable. The thing is built solid as the camera blocck is metal. The IR on this thing is super bright and lights a good distance. Since this is not in a dome and the IR is separate from the camera lens, no glare from the dome or IR illuminator. The image quality on these is first rate and the setup is pretty easy if you have basic networking know how. For the price, the image quality and durability can't be beat. High definition for a reasonable price. Check Youtube for some of the video's this thing shoots - it grabs plates on cars, names on vans and trucks drving by, facial details and details of anyone who comes on your property.

Very nice little camera. intigrated with my Snyology DMS-5.2 software seamlessly. Does seem to have a problem with day night conversion for notion detection. Night motion works great but so far have been unable to get mition dection to work during the day.Very small and Inconspicuous. I have mine hard wired using a seperate power supply which was cheaper than a PoE injector which still needed an AC source

I had a terrible experience with this camera, the Amazon 3rd party reseller "SafeGuard Designs" and Hikvision. I purchased both this camera and a different Hikvision camera through Amazon. While the other camera works fine, this specific one "DS-2CD2332-I" with factory installed firmware: Firmware Version V5.3.0 build 150513 & Encoding Version V5.0 build 150327, stops working about every other day. It simply stops. You can't ping it, and you can't connect to it's built in web server. The only way to get it running is to unplug it's POE connection, wait 15 seconds and plug it back in. It'll then work for a day or so and stop again. Totally useless as a security tool since you never know when it's going to stop. I purchased the camera on Sept 28th, 2015. It arrived on Sept 30th, and it sat in the box for two weeks before I had the chance to install it. By the time I was sure it was a problem with the camera itself and not my configuration (the other camera works great), I'd passed the 30-day Amazon return policy. No problem I thought - The Hikvision package said that it came with a 36-month warranty. NOT SO. Apparently Amazon is not an authorized reseller for Hikvision (and neither is SafeGuard Designs). Therefore Hikvision will not honor their warranty. I'm stuck with a camera that doesn't work. I'm extremely disappointed in both Amazon and Hikvision - not to mention SafeGuard Designs - for not disclosing the fact that you get no warranty on this $140 camera if you buy it through Amazon. I've been an Amazon Prime member for years and have never had such an awful experience with them or any of their sellers. I will be very wary of Amazon in the future.My advice to all Amazon shoppers: DO NOT PURCHASE HIKVISION products through Amazon. Let me start by saying that the image quality is OUTSTANDING, and that applies to DAY or NIGHT. The IR Illuminator is far superior to the typical multi LED emitters found on most cameras. It lights up our 80' pool deck as if there were a flood light on it all night. This is NOT a PTZ camera - I initially thought it was but was disappointed to discover that it's all manual push and twist. Loosen a set screw and twist the turrent for lateral position and longitudinal position is accomplished with a strong push on the turrent ball up or down. I have the 2.8mm lens and I'm ordering 2 more. This unit does NOT come with a PS. It does include an IP-66 rated outdoor Ethernet RJ-45e cable dongle connector. It does have a power port dongle that you'll need to use to temporarily connect a user supplied 12v PS to for initial setup with a laptop or off-network PC - after that POE works to provide power, so you'll need a POE network to get power to it. The instruction manual is NOT written in English. The CD that comes with it is NOT written in English. It does NOT have provisions for audio. Once you get into the web UI, the default login is "admin" and pw is "12345". Make sure you go through all of the various menus and change/disable the things you don't need hackers or snoopers to easily exploit. Now with all of the negatives, the fact that it has such a superior video quality at a phenomenal high resolution with little or no jitter over my GB network, I give it 5 stars.UPDATE**** 15 months after installation BOTH cameras have failed. One lasted 3 weeks longer than the other. I've replaced the power supplies and that did nothing to correct the problem. I replaced both cameras (at my expense) with the newer DS-2CD3345-I (4MP) and my security network is back up and running in the interim. Contacted the seller of these cameras a MONTH ago and have received NO RESPONSE for getting these cameras replaced, refunded, or repaired. Docking 2 stars for the lack of product support.

Having previously bought another of these cameras with a 4mm focal length and being stunned by their picture quality it wasn't long before I was looking to add another to cover my driveway.I decided on the 2.8mm due to its nice wild field of view compared to the 4mm which is only watching a door. The quality as I would expect from Hikvision is excellent. Installation was as easy as getting a cat6 cable to it and drilling it to the wall.One point of note is the large lead, it is a shame they don't offer the ability to plug the ethernet cable directly into the camera as this results in needing a large hole through the wall to fit the large connector through. Not the end of the world but worth noting nonetheless!Set up is a breeze if you have a Hikvision NVR its literally plug and play, name the camera and set up anything like motion alerts etc and your away!
