No Cutting Replacement Key Fob Cover Case fit for Honda Civic 2008-2013 CR-V Accord Pilot Fit Odyssey Ridgeline CR-Z Keyless Entry Key Fob Shell

I got this replacement housing for my wife's 2012 Honda Pilot EX-L (and no the specific model doesn't matter, just make sure you have the amount of buttons it shows) and I can't complain at all. Honestly I think the people complaining are just not putting it together correctly. Her original was black and this red looks dope. Now I had to break the old key out of the old housing but it's okay because the new one comes with a new piece to replace it with. It also comes with the black sticker for the back but not the honda logo so you will need to use your old one. I just used my nail to peel off the logo and place it on the new housing. It doesn't seem like it's going to break but my wife is very aggressive with her keys so I will update it breaks. But honestly for less than 8 bucks this is great. Even if it only last a year it's totally worth it. As of now I highly recommend, if I don't update then all is good.

Great fix for my key fob. Original fob was broken when I got the key but got this product and couple days later had a factory grade replacement. Easy to swap parts to the new housing and looks great. Super buy and does have the Honda logo on the back unlike some other kits out there. 10 min and 8 dollars to get my fob back to factory look and quality.

*update* the casing has cracked near the end of the key blade. 2/12/2024I got it to barely close with some slight gaps but very tight fit.

When I received this, it was easy to assemble from the old key to the new one, however, when I got the new key assembled, my key would no longer start the car. I didn't read this in the product description:NOTICE: This case does not have a chip holder, and you must remove your fob blade to this case, no need cut the blade.It didn't make any sense. I put this aside for several weeks before I came back to try again. After watching several YouTube videos, I learned that the reason why was because I didn't take the RFID chip (it's what tells the key to start the car) out of my old key and put it in the new shell. Once I did that, it worked perfectly.Removing the chip from my old key was not easy. In the original key, it sits inside of a protective molded piece of plastic (see picture) Because I didn't want to risk damaging the RFID chip, rather than try to remove the chip from that, I cut it out with coping saw, and they I had to sand down the protective area to fit inside of the new cover. Nevertheless, I finally got it to fit inside and put it all together. Now I have my key back.Watch YouTube videos to decide for yourself how to remove your RFID chip.

Fit the key and transmitter for my 2012 CRV perfectly. Tight fit - I needed to use pliers to squeeze the two halves of the case shut.

The media could not be loaded.  Key looks pretty nice the red is stylish and different. Everything is very easy and straightforward until you have to actually clip both sides together to close the case. After about an hour of fighting with the case and modifying it just a lil it was able to close but still has a slight gap towards the key side of the case. The holes for the screws were not perfect but thankfully worked or else i don't think this case would’ve kept closed. If you didn’t need to fight to close, or if the front had no gap I would’ve gave 5 stars.
