I usually buy neither MDF products nor the weathered look. but this was so lovably homely that, for $30, I had to risk it. Mine looks exactly as pictured, slightly darker colors than my monitor showed. Once I got it together it was sturdy and fit perfectly in the spot I measured out for it.HOWEVER (as in WARNING)! The back edge of the upper tier has a 3/4 inch long, 1/4 inch deep gash that looks like a sprocket wheel got jammed into it. No damage on the package. I'm keeping it cause maybe I'll sand it down and stain it someday.ALSO! Either there is some genius of cheap crappiness at work here or I got lucky. In un-packaging, I was dismayed to find bolt inserts protruding from the ends of legs askew by as much as 10 degrees and thread inserts not much better off. Additionally, the metal was soft and some of the threads were mashed.I used some patience and assembly skills starting from the top. Because the metal was so soft I was able to force thread the mashed-thread ones carefully. Because they were so askew some got easily cross threaded but I was able to re-thread the soft bolts, again, by just starting over and forcing carefully.The legs were all very askew, some landing more than an inch away from their opposite insert points on the middle and lower tiers. I had to pull and hold the most askew legs very firmly but carefully and gently to thread them without cross threading them at their second insert points I left everything as loose as I possibly could once I was sure a leg would continue threading properly.I completed the whole assemble super loosely with inches of bolts still exposed. Then I carefully tightened from the top down, only tightening a leg a turn or two at a time, then its opposites similarly, to distribute the stress evenly as things got forced into square. Eventually everything tightened up really well, all the legs flush, straight and sturdy. Two of the feet didn't straighten out and aren't flush. But they aren't very viewable and they are tight and have adjusters so the table is solid.Strangely, better materials may not have tolerated that process. Good stainless bolts might not have accommodated that much forcing and real, not composite, wood with grain could have split.If you have the time and like the style, it might be worth the risk at $30 bucks.

I bought 2 of this tables, definitely good value for the money. Looks rustic and funky at the same time.

I was looking for an end-table to go between my couch and a half-wall room divider, so I didn't want anything huge or square, and this table is the perfect size. It's open and easy to access to store my books and laptop, which does fit fine on the middle shelf. Each shelf on the table looks and feels like solid wood, though I believe only the legs are solid wood. Very attractive and sturdy. It was packaged very well and easy to put together in under 15 minutes by myself. I only had one piece, a foot piece, that wasn't perfect. The attached screw that screws into the bottom-most shelf was stuck in the foot piece crooked, but since the feet are adjustable, that didn't really make a difference and it sits just fine and level. All together great table.

Bought because of the sectional tiered look for functionality due to limited space. I can hide my printer and printer paper on the bottom, small rattlesnake plant with tiny humidifier and pictures on middle shelf, and record player on top with coasters in front of the record player. Did come with a ding on back corner but it’s hidden so I don’t care since it was so cheap I expected something like that and the screw holes were slightly misaligned but tightened up straight enough. Practical and brings the room together while hiding eye sores like a printer.

Firstly, I love the look of this table. Definitely more black than brown, thanks to another reviewer I chose it based on that info and it works great with my black, gray, blue and white decor.The directions were good and the parts are sturdy. Issue is there was supposed to be 2 of each of a certain part (leg), but instead I received 3 of one & 1 of the other. The legs were same length, it was the screw length that varied. I put it together anyway, and decided it would be sturdy enough for my purposes - table in corner, will not be bumped by pets or kids, no heavy use. If it were in a more open area with potential for bumping I would have contacted seller. But I didn't want the hassle. Just be sure you check your box carefully when it arrives because someone will probably get one of my legs :)

We wanted something that was affordable with the re purposed wood look. These tables work perfectly for our taste and needs. We actually bought one for the corner, and we liked it so much, we bought a second one. The company was good to work with because the second one looked a little bit to "re purposed" with a big dent in a chunk of the top piece of wood. They took it back and sent out a new one. We are as happy with the second one. They are sturdy and don't take up alot of room in our small space. The best part, is these are so easy to put together. Love these and highly recommend.

I am using this as a side table in my office for extra storage. The only thing I can criticize is that I would definitely describe the dark color as black, not brown. So, if dark brown is essential, this will not please you. Black, however, was perfectly fine with me! I love the looks, size, and unobtrusive bits of color and believe it will serve me well for years to come.

This is one of the few tables that would fit the small, narrow space beside my recliner. The multi-shelves were very handy. The table was attractive and the price was very competitive. I had some trouble with the assembly because one of the bolt fasteners had damaged threads. Alignment of the sections must be precise- which I found to be somewhat difficult. The manufacturer sent a replacement for the damaged piece by UPS fast delivery. The manufacturer was very helpful and informative.
