Milano 1700 x 510mm Gloss White 2-Tier Bath Front Panel for use with 1700mm Standard Straight Baths

I needed to replace my original batch Panel as it had turn yellowish from UV. This one looked exactly the same on the picture. It still looked the same when it arrived, apart from the thickness. This one is about three times thinner which makes it very flimsy. Because of it, it doesn't hold in place properly an I had to add some extra support.I don't know how much the original would cost as I couldn't find one, so I can't say for sure if the low price justify the quality. It does the job but I regret buying it.

Arrived earlier than expected it came with a bit of damage on the corners but wasn't too bothered as luckily enough we had to cut where the damage was to get the panel to fit, this panel can easily be cut with big kitchen scissors, has made a big improvement to our bath now and for such a good price :)

Looks good now its fitted but is very flimsy/bendy. Husband had to rescue the solid plastic back off the old panel and glue on to provide support, otherwise the panel just bowed out and didn't look right. Was easy to cut with a stanley knife - measured the old panel (at top and bottom - never the same!) and marked with masking tape roughly before measuring again accurately and drawing a pencil line. Also used a ruler for guidance - to ensure cut in a straight line!

I ACTUALLY THOUGHT I HAD ORDERED A WOODEN FRONT PANEL AND WAS SURPRISED WHEN IT ARRIVED AND IT WAS NOT.. MAY HAVE MISINTERPRETED THE JARGON? THIS WAS WHAT I REALLY WANTED, DUE THE FACT THAT I THOUGHT THAT IT MIGHT BE MORE AMENIABLE TO THE JOB THAT I WANTED IT FOR. FOUND THE PLASTIC ONE VERY FRAGILE AND DID CRACK WHEN TRYING TO FIT. IT LOOKS OK BUT IS A BIT FLIMSY.

When our old bath panel needed replacing we searched the local diy stores for a new one but they were too expensive. so we turned too the internet and found this one, It was very good value for money and arrived very quickly too. we are very happy.

I got this item to finish of my bathroom ,I didn’t check it as it was well rapped up, so when I got round to fitting it I notice two big foot prints on the front I tried cleaning it ,but I ended up putting it in the bin , what a waist of money .
